FEBRUARY 2 – THE AT THE VOLUNTEER MINISTRY CENTER The Foyer, a low barrier housing facility focused on overnight emergency shelter, is located on the grounds of the Salvation Army with oversight, staffing and management provided by VMC staff. The shelter provides up to 45 beds to vulnerable and hard- to-reach individuals experiencing with an emphasis on those gathering “under the bridge”. The shelter will be paired with access to community social services that provide entry to permanent housing through the Housing First philosophy. Rather than simply providing emergent housing, The Foyer can be that first step in helping individuals move towards permanent housing.

We are so excited about the new families that have been visiting and joining us for Sunday School. If you haven’t started coming to Sunday School, it is not too late. We will begin a new 3-week rotation on The Beatitudes beginning February 2. We offer a fun, relaxed atmosphere of learning and fellowship, led by a wonderful group of loving and experienced teachers.
