Nun, was erwartet den geneigten Hörer? Alles in allem, zufriedenstellend. (c) by 'PlanetHeavyMetal' URL : http://www.planetheavymetal.de Das Impressum finden Sie hier 2/2.

  • Book V Firebird
Chapter XXIX - Aqualung 797 BOOK V FIREBIRD 798 Chapter XXIX - Aqualung Chapter XXIX - Aqualung 799 AQUALUNG The broad mass of a nation ... will more easily fall victim to a big lie than to a small one. Adolf Hitler "Mein Kampf", Vol. I, Ch. 10 One single will is necessary. Maximilien Robespierre, in a letter Captain Mayr was impressed with the talents of his new protégé Adolf Hitler, in particular with his ability to connect with soldiers, workers and simple men - something nationalist politicians had been unable to do in the Second Reich. After the defeat of Toller's, Levien's and Levine's Soviet Republics, the executive power which was nominally wielded by Hoffmann's SPD government in Bamberg, had been taken over by the army - Gruko 4 - on Mai 11, 1919, and it was soon made clear that no socialist activities were to be tolerated. KPD and USPD were strictly forbidden, as were even liberal newspapers. Gruko 4 understood its mission as counterrevolutionary, and Bavaria became a stronghold of the right: monarchists, reactionaries, nationalists, most of them anti-Semitic as well - the army protected them. The locals were reinforced by refugees from the east, mainly the Baltic States, who reported horror stories of Bolshevik atrocities. Alfred Rosenberg was born in Tallinn (Reval), Estonia, in 1893, and had studied engineering and architecture in Riga and Moscow. He fled the Bolshevik Revolution and emigrated first to Paris, then moved to Munich. (1) He was a fanatic pro- German, anti-Soviet, anti-Catholic and anti-Semitic theorist from a small-bourgeois background comparable to Hitler's.

  • INITIALS C.C. Liner Notes
Chris Connelly : INITIALS C.C. Out-takes, Rarities and Personal Favourites 1982-2002 vol.1 01. Detestimony – Fini Tribe: This was the “A” side of an EP called “Let the Tribe Grow,” written and recorded when the Fini Tribe was going through great musical changes. We had acquired an Ensoniq ‘Mirage’ sampling keyboard, and as was the same for a lot of bands at the time, it changed everything, opened up a lot of doors, and led us into some very uncharted waters. The actual piece was whittled down from a fifteen-minute opus we had written. I remember being in Philip Pinsky’s bedroom one night with John Vick. Philip’s then-roommate, Lindsay, gave us an old quarter-inch reel of tape he had. On it was a beautiful recording of the church bells you hear on the song; we sampled them and came up with the melody. The EP actually did better than any of us had anticipated and became a sort of hit in the Ibiza clubs at the very advent of the acid house/rave phenomenon. We actually went ahead and re-wrote/re- structured the song for the WaxTrax! Records release (“Make it Internal/Detestimony Revisited”) a couple of years later. 02. Mania – Murder Inc.: Certainly what I feel is the most compelling song on the one and only album released by Murder Inc. The band was basically Killing Joke, minus Jaz Coleman (Killing Joke’s singer), plus me, as well as the original drummer, Paul Fergusson, and newer drummer, Martin Atkins. The sessions took place at Pachyderm Studios in rural Minnesota during September of 1991.

Microphones Born and bred in the American heartland, Electro-Voice lays claim to over 80 years of unmatched innovation in microphone design and manufacturing. Back in 1927, company founders Al Kahn and Lou Burroughs started out as true pioneers, establishing the industry standard for audio engineering excellence and reliability while continuously upping the ante with breakthrough technologies like the Humbucking coil for noise cancellation, Variable-D™ and VOB™. Eight decades on, Electro-Voice microphones continue to deliver the sound of history’s most significant events. We’ve helped the world hear everything from the very first radio broadcasts to John Glenn’s first orbit of the Earth; from Elvis and the Beatles to the largest world tours with today’s biggest artists; from Knut Rockne using his “Electric Voice” at Notre Dame to the state-of-the-art wireless microphone systems at this year’s Superbowl; from Presidential inaugurations to tonight’s evening news; from Dr. Martin Luther King’s “I Have A Dream” speech to the Next Big Thing rehearsing in the garage next door… Electro-Voice stays true to its roots as a great American brand while advancing to new heights in the 21st century. We were the first to offer N/DYM™ neodymium technology in microphones and created ClearScan™ for quick, automatic wireless microphone channel coordination. And that’s just the beginning—our engineers are constantly working on new ways to keep your tone intact. From soundcheck to encore, Electro-Voice microphones offer great sound, durability, ergonomics and style, whether you’re outfitting a world tour, a house of worship, a professional studio or a neighborhood block party.
