2021 TRANSPORTATION At TIGS, we understand the importance of having accessible and readily available transportation options. As a result, TIGS offers multiple transportation services to ease the everyday school commute. Students have the option of travelling to school in a private vehicle, utilising public transport or riding on one of our fleet of TIGS private buses.
PRIVATE VEHICLE
TIGS PREP JUNIOR SCHOOL
Students enrolled in the Prep programme at TIGS TIGS operates a ‘Car Line’ service for students must be dropped off and picked up from school by in Kindergarten to Year 6 from our Princes Hwy private vehicle. Children need to be walked in to entrance. From 8.20am – 8.45am, students are TIGS Prep and signed in and out. They will only be greeted and assisted from their vehicle by our Traffic released into the care of an authorised person team. In the afternoon, students are accompanied by teaching staff to carline. As each vehicle arrives, the student’s name is announced and they wait in line as the car proceeds around carline. Parents remain in SENIOR SCHOOL the vehicle while our staff assist students to the car safely. Many Senior School students travel to school by bus or train. For those being picked up by a private vehicle, entry is via Powell Street. TIGS PRIVATE BUS
TIGS offers a private school bus across the Illawarra, to transport students to and from school with a door to door pick up and drop off system. Students are picked up in the morning before school and returned home at the end of the day. Fees apply for this service.

COMPLIMENTARY BUS SERVICE
Students are often involved in co-curricular activities after school. TIGS offers a free limited-stop bus service departing at 5.00pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
