Please note: The Independent Living Centre is in 'DEVON HOUSE' which is a single storey building on Brunel Road, on the right hand side just before the mini roundabout.

By Car

From Exeter – A38/A380

Take the A38 towards Torquay/Plymouth, bear left onto A380 and continue for 10 miles. At Penn Inn Roundabout take the 3rd exit onto A381/Torquay Road. Take the right hand lane. Turn right onto Brunel Road and Devon House is found on the right hand side.

From Totnes – A381

Take A381 and pass through 3 roundabouts keeping on the A381. After 8.8 miles turn left onto B3195/Courtlands Road. Turn right to stay on B3195/Station Road. Road changes to A381/Torquay Road. Turn left onto Brunel Road. Devon House can be found on right hand side.

From Torquay

Take A380/Torquay Road for 2.9 miles. At Penn Inn Roundabout take the 1st exit and take the right hand lane. Turn right onto Brunel Road.

The car park can be found next to Devon House. There are 4 spaces, if you are visiting for an assessment please park in any of the spaces including the disabled spaces.

The entrance to the ILC is to the front of the building, the smaller door to the right of the main entrance marked the Independent Living Centre.

Parking

Clients should park in the disabled spaces (even if they don’t have a blue badge) in the small car park next to Devon House.

For training courses staff can park in the staff car park in Forde Close (see map) spaces 1-16.

By Bus or Train

The nearest bus stop (Stop K) is at Newton Abbot Railway station in Station Road, from there it is a 7 or 8 minute walk to the centre. On leaving the station turn left towards A381/Torquay Road, over the railway bridge and turn left into Brunel Road. Devon House is on the right hand side.
