ELEVEN ANDROS MOTHERSHIP

ANGLING

ELEVEN

Our mission is to custom-make powerful experiences that will take you from fabled remote flats in the Bahamas, Florida, and Louisiana to glacier-carved river valleys in Iceland and Chile, to pristine lakes and creeks in the U.S. Rockies. Eleven experiences are a different kind of escape. We prefer to venture out on our own, away from traditional destinations, in search of new waters, new challenges. Our lodges, motherships, chalets and beach houses are miles from the main road or well-traveled waterways – in a historic farming area, on a glistening freestone river in Patagonia, along the wilderness coastline of Andros, and other unique locations that beckon inquisitive anglers.

In each destination, world-class food and lodging are combined with guided fishing from rivers to reefs, and a variety of outdoor activities from the mountains to the sea. Guests of all ages and skill levels are encouraged to join in the adventures, and to improve their skills with instruction from our expert guides. And local cultures present the opportunity to participate in a different way of life, to see and enjoy places known only to native insiders.

No matter where in the world they may be, every facility has five-star accommodations, award- winning chefs, extensive wine selections, saunas, steam rooms, spas, and friendly, skilled guides who strive to add new dimensions to the angling lifestyle, and to share with you that wonderful feeling of comradery and fresh adventure.

Eleven Experience is headquartered in Crested Butte, Colorado. Eleven represents a new standard in experiential travel. We quench a thirst for unprecedented adventures, authentic connections with down-to-earth guides and deeply personalized holidays for the Adventure Capitalist. A LETTER FROM THE CAPTAIN

A Florida resident since 1986, I’m passionate about fishing and it’s my goal to make your Eleven angling experience an adventure you’ll always remember. As one of the captains of the Eleven Mothership, my colleagues and I will be standing by to welcome you aboard as we set off to explore the legendary sport fishing grounds that have drawn generations of anglers to the rich waters of the Bahamas and beyond.

THROUGHOUT MY YEARS ON THE WATER, FISHING HAS ALWAYS BEEN AN EMOTIONAL AND PERSONAL EXPERIENCE. EVEN LIFE- CHANGING AT TIMES. SHARING THIS FEELING WITH OTHERS HAS ALWAYS BEEN MY MISSION. IT’S WHAT DRIVES ME. AND IT’S WHAT DRIVES THE ELEVEN EXPERIENCE.

Fishing is far more than casting a line and catching a fish. Finding that elusive and raw connection to the sea is an essential element of the sport. The Eleven Mothership is a unique vessel, one that provides us with the means to create a special connection to nature.

MOTHERSHIP ANDROS

TRIP DETAILS From October 15 through May, the Eleven Mothership calls the fish-filled waters of southwest Andros home. Our unique fishing opportunities range from the Water and Curly Cut Cays at the southernmost tip of the island, on up the west coast to the Middle Bight and Spanish Wells. Seasoned Bahamian guides captaining custom-built ultra-skinny water Beavertail skiffs will lead you on daily explorations across this magical seascape. Fish from the skiffs or take off wading. Novice anglers will be spoiled with numerous shots at schools of feeding bones, while accomplished fly fishers can hunt and stalk larger singles and doubles.

The renowned Water Cays is a saltwater wilderness surrounded by vast flats and protected creeks, and is a bonefish haven, ideal for anglers who love to wade. Heading north to Cormorant Point you’ll encounter more jewel-like cays, mangrove-lined creeks and shorelines; rich habitat for cruising bones, mutton snapper, sharks, barracuda, and the occasional permit. The coastline up to the South Bight and Big Miller Creek, then beyond to Little Miller and Honeycutt Creek, is a seemingly endless series of half-moon bays and sandy points that concentrate bones, tarpon and permit. Every time you approach one of these jutting fingers of land you feel a building sense of anticipation. You know you’re going to see fish. And out on the Grand Bahama bank the water blends intense shades of blue and green over white sand and coral. This is the land of tarpon, strong resident beauties that range from forty to one hundred pounds.

And you can fish hard all day, all the while knowing the Mothership is nearby, awaiting your return, ready to refresh and recharge you. THE MOTHERSHIP RATES YOUR HOME BASE
