Senators of the Year There has been an 1 apparition on campus which has been appearing Senators Bob Corson a.qd F ran ~ in the evenings and frightening female resident students. The personage, S antry were aw ar d e d dressed in a loose-fitting monlis robe with a gas mask ouer his fac e, ha " Outstanding Senator of the Year" been dubbed "gas man ", by the resident students. ' Senator Corson added, "Senators are interested in all the problems of their section. We are interested in Fra nk Sa ntry and can try to handle academic as well as social, disciplinary, and monetary problems. We meet and talk with the faculty and administration and they come to us. However, w e represent the students and to serve t hem, we must know their hopes, problems, expectations of FTU, their gripes, however petty they feel the problems may be." The Lake Claire Project is their main project and bot h senators are interested in any pr ojects which their constituents are in terested in. Senator Corson likes to work wit h t he budget and Santry is keenly in t ere ste d in sta t u tes and procedures. Both keep close watch on senate activities and as Santry said, " It's easy to lose sight o f legislative procedure when the only au t horit y you have is the constitut ion."
