ECOLAB AND MULTIPLE INVESTOR GROUPS JOIN EAGAN VENTURES AS OWNERSHIP PARTNERS IN NEW VIKING LAKES HOTEL

Ecolab, along with Mark, Mitch & Marty Davis (Ma Mi Ma Real Estate Holdings, LLC) and Viking Lakes Hotel Physician Partners, join MV Eagan Ventures in ownership of four-star, full-service hotel

Eagan, MN (June 27, 2019) – MV Eagan Ventures, founded by Minnesota Vikings Owners Zygi & Mark Wilf, announced today new ownership partners in the development of the four-star, full-service hotel scheduled to open on the Viking Lakes campus in Fall 2020. Minnesota-based Ecolab, along with investor groups Mark, Mitch and Marty Davis (Ma Mi Ma Real Estate Holdings, LLC) and Viking Lakes Hotel Physician Partners, a private group of TCO physicians, have joined the hotel ownership group.

“Each of these partners brings expertise in product development, innovative technology and customer service and is a natural connection in the development of the Viking Lakes Hotel,” said Mark Wilf. “This hotel will be a great asset for the community and the region, and we are proud to work with individuals and companies have a strong in this market and a passion for investing in Minnesota.”

The 14-story hotel will include 320 guest rooms and suites, hospitality lounges, a restaurant, rooftop bar, spa and fitness center. Of the total 356,000 square feet, 25,000 square feet will be comprised of a ballroom, a junior ballroom, multiple meeting rooms and an event center. The hotel will include the latest in technology such as mobile check- in, RFID access, keyless guest room entry, in-room tablets with customized guest content and projection mapping throughout the ballrooms. Under the direction of construction manager Kraus Anderson, 25 Minnesota-based companies have already worked on the project. Two forms of equity participation have been established - 12% targeted businesses (women, minority or veteran-owned) and 8% workforce participation (women, minorities and veterans). Concrete work is currently happening for levels two and three while permanent electrical and gas services for the hotel have been completed. The partners expect to announce a hotel name and flag and unveil a model room this summer.

About the Viking Lakes Hotel Scheduled to open on the Viking Lakes campus in fall 2020, the four-star, full-service hotel will include 320 rooms and suites offering guests first-class accommodations. The 14-story hotel will boast 25,000 square feet of meeting spaces, along with a restaurant, rooftop bar, spa and fitness center. The hotel is the next critical component of Viking Lakes, a bold, mixed-use development in Eagan, Minnesota, that will encompass more than 3 million square feet of corporate and medical offices, retail, entertainment and multi-family housing. The project boasts open and public spaces, including trails, water/wetland preserves and other amenities to provide connectivity, all anchored by the Minnesota Vikings 34-acre team headquarters and practice facility, the Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center.
