Consideration of Request for Approval by Parliament of The International Labour Organisation (ILO) Convention No 190 concerning the Elimination of Violence and Harassment in the World of Work in terms of section 231(2) of Constitution, 1996 (Report of Portfolio Committee on Employment and Labour, see Announcements, Tablings and Committee Reports, 8 July 2021, p 10).

Ms M L Dunjwa, as Chairperson of the Committee, introduced the Report.

There was no debate.

Declarations of vote made on behalf of the Democratic Alliance, Economic Freedom Fighters, , , African Christian Democratic Party, Congress of the People and African National Congress.

The International Labour Organisation (ILO) Convention No 190 concerning the Elimination of Violence and Harassment in the World of Work accordingly approved.

Ms B N Dlulane, as Chairperson of the Committee, introduced the Report.

There was no debate.

The Chief Whip of the Majority Party moved: That the Report be adopted.

Declarations of vote made on behalf of the Democratic Alliance, Economic Freedom Fighters, Inkatha Freedom Party, African Christian Democratic Party, Freedom Front Plus, Congress of the People, Al’ Jama- ah and African National Congress.

Motion agreed to (Economic Freedom Fighters dissenting).

Consideration of Report of Portfolio Committee on Trade and Industry on Department of Trade, Industry and Competition’s second and third quarter financial and non-financial performance for 2020/21 financial year (Announcements, Tablings and Committee Reports, 22 April 2021, p 7).

Mr D M Nkosi, as Chairperson of the Committee, introduced the Report.

There was no debate.
