Sillyman is a long 6’7 athlete who is more than capable of stretching the defense with his long range shooting ability, and his length makes him a quality defender. The remaining returning letter winners for Rhodes are junior Josh Arant (Charlotte, NC), sophomores Kory Kilpatrick (Athens, GA) and Jonas Williams (Birmingham, AL). Arant is a strong forward who can score from beyond the arc as well as drives to the basket. He will be looking for playing time this season after gathering experience the past two seasons. Kilpatrick started 19 games last season for the Lynx before a stress fracture ended his season prematurely. Kilpatrick recorded

Larry returns to Rhodes after a junior season that saw him play in 24 games. Larry’s size and strength will enable him to compete for a starting position for the Lynx inside. Larry’s presence on defense, rebounding ability and soft touch will give Rhodes an inside scoring option. As a junior, Larry played a career high 218 minutes and shot 58.7% from the field. He scored a career high of 13 points against Oglethorpe on February 13, 2009. As a sophomore, Larry led the Lynx from the free throw line in with an 83.9% shooting percentage. Larry came to Rhodes after a stellar career at John Burroughs High School in St. Charles, Missouri. Larry is the son of Larry and Martha Cunningham and is majoring in Business and Economics.

CHRIS EBERLE Senior Guard vsLBS Cincinnati, OH Madeira High School

Chris returns to Rhodes after a junior season where he continued to gain experience. Chris is one of the hardest workers on the Lynx team, and that work ethic carries over into the weight room and classroom. Eberle’s unique combination of strength and athleticism make him an ideal combo guard. He has a good ability to shoot the ball from beyond the arc, and is very good at driving the basketball to the rim. His strength makes him an effective rebounder. Chris will be relied upon to be a regular perimeter player this year and counted on for his great defense. Chris recorded a career high of 8 rebounds against Westminster on November 22nd, 2008. Chris came to Rhodes after a stellar career at Madeira High School in Cincinnati, Ohio. Chris is the son of Jim and Beth Eberle. Chris is majoring in Business and Economics.

Reid returns to Rhodes after an injury shortened his junior season, allowing him to appear in only 13 games after starting all 26 games as a sophomore. An athletic player, Reid can step out and play a perimeter position and knock down the perimeter shot, or go inside and score with his back to the basket in the post position. His combination of size, strength and quickness allow him to defend multiple positions. He will give the Lynx scoring and rebounding from the forward position this season. Reid led the Lynx in rebounding in the 2007-2008 season averaging 6.3 rebounds including 46 offensive rebounds. He scored a career high of 22 points against Southwestern on January 19, 2008 and grabbed a career high 12 rebounds against Southwestern in the same game. Reid came to Rhodes after a stellar career at Mountain Brook High School in Birmingham, Alabama. Reid is the son of Ronnie and Ann Hamilton. Reid is majoring in Business and Economics.

ANDYSHEA SABERIOON Senior Guard vsLBS Houston, TX Second Baptist High School

Andyshea returns to Rhodes after playing in 22 games as a junior. A crafty ball 5 handler and passer, Andyshea will be an asset for the Lynx at the point guard position. Andyshea’s ability to handle the ball and create opportunities for his teammates will make him a good playmaker for the Lynx. A capable perimeter shooter, Andyshea makes defenses account for his perimeter shot. As a junior Andyshea averaged 7.3 points and 2 assists per game. As a junior, Andyshea shot 44% from beyond the arc. He scored a career high of 15 points against Sewanee on January 4, 2009 and matched that total against Southwestern on January 16, 2009. He had a career high 7 assists against the University of on December 20, 2008. Andyshea came to Rhodes after a stellar career at Second Baptist School in Houston, . Andrew returns to Rhodes after a junior 33 season in which he played 19 games. A long, athletic player, Andrew has the ability to play either the guard or forward position. Andrew is very good shooter giving him the ability to stretch the defense. Andrew’s size and athleticism make him a matchup problem for opposing teams on the offensive end of the court, and his length allows him to defend multiple positions on the defensive end. He scored a career high of 11 points and grabbed a career high of 8 rebounds against Principia on November 29, 2009. Andrew came to Rhodes after a stellar career at FACS in Cordova, Tennessee. Andrew is the son of Tony Sillyman and Michelle Grider. Andrew is majoring in International Business.

Kory returns to Rhodes after a very good freshman campaign. He averaged 7.3 points and 7 rebounds while starting in all 19 games he played. Kory totaled 3 double- doubles in his freshman year and had 6 games where he KORY KILPATRICK grabbed 10 or more rebounds. He scored a career high of Sophomore 16 points against Birmingham Southern and Forward and grabbed a career high 14 rebounds against Austin on vsLBS January 25, 2009. Kory is a strong forward with a great Athens, GA competitive desire. His ability to shoot from long range and post skills make him a matchup problem for opposing teams. Cedar Shoals High School On the defensive end he is very good rebounder and can guard multiple positions. Kory comes to Rhodes from Cedar Shoals High School in Athens, Georgia, where he averaged 16 points and 9 rebounds as a senior. He was a 4 year letter-winner and 3 year starter. Jonas returns to Rhodes after a freshman season that saw him play in 21 games. Jonas is a big, strong and agile center. Joey Miller comes to Rhodes College after a stellar career at Athens Academy in Athens, Georgia. Joey was named first team All-region as well as All-Northeast Georgia his senior year. Jonathan Smith comes to Rhodes College after a stellar career at St. George’s Independent School in Collierville, Tennessee. Jonathan was named All Region his senior JONATHAN SMITH year, a year in which St. George’s placed second in state. Freshman Jonathan was a member of the team that won back to back Forward district and region championships. He averaged 14.4 points vsLBS per game and 5 rebounds per game his senior season. He shot 40% from the 3 point line and 89% from the free Bartlett, TN throw line. Jonathan won the Citizenship Award as a senior St. George’s Independent School and basketball’s most improved. Athletics Facilities Athletics Facilities Athletics The Bryan Campus Life Center (BCLC) officially opened on March 17, 1997, to Rhodes students, faculty, staff and alumni. The $22 million facility has become the centerpiece of campus life at Rhodes. Within the facility, there is the Mallory-Hyde Gymnasium; a 6,900-square-foot fitness room; a multi- sports forum that can accommodate basketball, , baseball, , track and tennis; an indoor track; three racquetball courts; two squash courts and six locker rooms. Also within its walls are the Lynx Lair, an upscale snack bar and grill for students, and the McCallum Ballroom for lectures, dances and special events. Immediately adjacent to the BCLC is Alburty Pool. Originally installed in 1977, Alburty Pool received a new deck and pool house with the construction pool to allow the men’s and women’s The Bryan Campus Life Center also of the Bryan Campus Life Center. The field is settled within the college’s track facility which boasts one of the region’s highest quality outdoor tracks. Rhodes offers alumni memberships to the Bryan Campus Life Center.
