Instructions for Refinitiv Bill to Legal Entity Details Document The Financial and Risk business of Thomson Reuters is now Refinitiv refinitiv.com Instructions for Refinitiv Bill to Legal Entity Details Document The Refinitiv Bill to Legal Entity file details up-to-date information relating to supplier invoice submission, such as Legal Entity name, Bill To/Registered Address, tax registration numbers, mailing addresses(only applicable where legal requirement mandate invoices to be submitted in original hard copy format ) and e-mail ids for electronic submission of invoices in PDF format only(applicable for most countries). The file also highlights the changes to the legal entity names(from Thomson Reuters To Refinitiv) and date on which the name change have been effective from hence we request you to please make changes to your billing systems accordingly to reflect these latest name changes in the billing entities so that your invoices can be processed without any issues. Note: This is a dynamic document with changes made on frequent basis, wherever required, we request you to, therefore, continue to refer to this portal to confirm and check latest invoice submission protocols. Guidelines to be followed while referring to the Document: 1. Bill to Registered addresses- The address which needs to be printed on the invoice along with the Legal Entity name on the face of the invoice. 2. Tax Registration/VAT numbers- This is mandatory information to be printed on the invoices for all VAT applicable countries. 3. Invoice mailing address- This is the physical mailing address and should be used only where hard copy requirement is mandatory for invoice submission. The vendors are requested not to send physical invoices where Soft Copy requirements apply- Refer column Invoice submission Requiremenr-Hard copy/Soft Copy for more details. 4. Invoice submission mail id- DRC e-mail id: This is the e-mail id to be used for submission of soft copy invoices for Refinitiv. The invoices should be submitted in PDF format only, other formats are not accepted. Multiple invoices must not be clubbed in one document and should be submitted as individual pdf documents. 5. The effective name change date: This is the date when the name changes for each legal entity will effectively take place so all invoices billed post that date should contain the new Refinitiv Legal Entity Name. 6. Note that the submission channels listed in the document don’t apply to e-invoicing-enabled countries wherein the vendor is supposed to PO invoices are to be submitted via the Ariba Network. This is only applicable for Non PO invoices and for the countries where hard copies are mandated by law. Executive Summary Executive summary Introduction OLA Energy Kenya (OEKE, the “Proponent”) intends to expand its 510 MT Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) depot at Shimanzi, Mombasa to a marine LPG terminal with a capacity of 14,500 MT (the “Project”). The proposed terminal will consist of 6 mounded LPG spheres with a total water capacity of 30,000m3, 4 truck loading facilities, 6 Rail Tank Carrier (RTC) facilities and a delivery line of 14 inches from Shimanzi Oil Terminal (SOT) and later to Kipevu Oil Terminal (KOT). OLA Energy is one of the leading downstream petroleum companies in Africa with operations in 17 countries comprising of over 1,200 service stations, 8 blending plants over 60 fuel terminals and presence in over 50 Airports. The proposed expansion of the LPG terminal will be undertaken by OLA Energy Kenya with the support of OLA Energy Operations Headquarters in Dubai and OLA Holdings Ltd. OLA Energy Kenya has engaged Kurrent Technologies Ltd to undertake Front End Engineering Design (FEED), prepare tender documents, acquire construction permits including Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) license and undertake the tendering process. While the inauguration had been planned as a major celebration to mark the coming of oil, it soon became a highly contested political event. That day, with new President Mahamadou Issoufou coming from the capital Niamey (located in the west of the country) to Zinder to mark the occasion, youths set alight tire street barricades and clashed with police. The protests turned into violent riots some days later with youth clashing with security forces in the streets, burning down a police station and looting a bank. Two people were killed and several were injured. Using in-depth ethnographic material collected over 13 months of fieldwork from 2011 to 2014 within the methodological framework of the extended case method, the book takes the event of the oil refinery’s inauguration
