SINOPSI

Rodada íntegrament al Brasil, el film explica l’emocionant i inspiradora història de Pelé, un noi que vivia en una favela i que va ser capaç de superar la seva precària existència fins a convertir-se en el somni i l'esperança de tot un país quan el 1958 va liderar l'equip brasiler a la Copa del Món de Futbol. La pel·lícula ha comptat amb la participació del mateix Pelé, que no ha dubtat a mostrar al món els més profunds records de la seva infància i els d'un Brasil ple de problemes racials i de misèria.
