VIETNAM MISSIONARIES, DALAT, 1972 It was with great joy that the 54th Annual Conference of our Viet Nam mission was able to meet at our new conference center at Dalat for the first time since the 1968 Tet offensive. "WE ARE ONE IN THE SPIRIT ..." Through our colleague, the Rev. David Moore of Indonesia, the Lord reminded us of the greet treasure we have within these earthen vessels - the very Spirit of God who reaches out to men through men. "WE WILL WALK WITH EACH OTHER ..." This year the National Evangelical Church of Viet Nam and the Mission signed an agreement clarifying the relationship by which we will walk together to reach our goal of propagating the Gospel to every person in Viet Nam. The Evangelism Deep and Wide program, which emphasizes the use of prayer cells and careful follow-up of new believers, is proving to be an effective tool toward this goal of church growth. "WE WILL WORK WITH EACH OTHER ..." "But you must help us too. by praying for us." (II Cor. 1:11a LNT) — the desperate need for Scriptures in the Jarai language for the many new converts in the Pleiku area — the tremendous evangelistic opportunity created by hundreds of thousands of refugees crowding every city — the thrilling response among the Vietnamese military in hospitals, prisons and induction camps — the increased yearning for a widespread Holy Spirit revival across all of Viet Nam — a permanent, righteous settlement to this devasting war — the early release of our missionaries still lie/d captive. "ALL PRAISE TO THE FATHER ..." — for blessings of revival, especially in the Tribal churches — for the dedication of youth in spreading the revival fires — for the opening of two bookrooms in DaNang and QuiNhon — for the completion of the entire Bible in the Raday Tribal language — for the miraculous deliverance of Mr. Dieu Huynh, Stieng pastor, and his wife from the besieged city of An Loc. "AND THEY'LL KNOW WE ARE CHRISTIANS BY OUR LOVE ..." Plans and programs are not enough, but as God's love flows through us, Jesus' words will be fulfilled, "Your strong love will prove to the world that you are my disciples." (John 13:35 LNT) We thank you for your prayerful support during the past year. Sincerely.
