Service 5, 5a, 5b - Middlesbrough to Easington

This service will continue to operate up to every 15 minutes between Middlesbrough & , with buses extending to and terminating at Easington every 30 minutes. Buses will no longer continue to , however this link will be retained by revisions to Service X4 and New Service 4.

Service 5 will see a minor route change, operating direct between Skelton High Street & , omitting Hollybush Estate. Service 5 will also serve either or Mines hourly, as replacement to the amended Service X4.

Service 5a will also see a revised route in the Skelton area, with buses operating from Skelton High Street via Byland Road and Skelton Industrial Estate to serve the new ASDA store. From here, buses will operate via the A174 and serve Brotton in both directions, with a new terminus loop of Kilton Lane, A174 and Lorne Terrace.

Evening & Sunday Service 5B journeys are also retimed and will operate as Service 5.

Service 9 - Middlesbrough to Overfields

This service will see a revised timetable to improve punctuality, with buses still operating up to every 15 minutes during the day.

Sunday timetable is also revised to offer faster journey times to and from Middlesbrough.

Service X17 - NEW* - Middlesbrough to Kingsmead

This new peak time only service will be a revision of current Service X6, operating via existing route. Buses will operate up to every 15 minutes to/from Middlesbrough, arriving pre 09:30am and departing post 16:30pm, with at least five journeys in each direction per weekday.

When Service X17 is not in operation, passengers in & will have access to revised Service 17 linking to Yarm and/or Middlesbrough (see below) Middlesbrough

Service 17, 17a, 17b Middlesbrough to Thornaby/Stockton/Yarm

This service will see a major revision to route and timetable. Current Service 17 journeys (Middlesbrough to Thornaby only) will be renumbered to operate as 17b, but will remain largely unchanged and will operate to their current route and timetable for the majority of the day (except Saturdays, see below).

Service 17a journeys Middlesbrough to Thornaby & Stockton) will operate to their current route, but we will be scheduling in additional journey time to alleviate punctuality issues.

Service 17b will see a major route revision and will be renumbered to Service 17. Buses will operate as per current route between Middlesbrough & Cunningham Drive before extending to Ingleby Barwick, Sober Hall every 30 minutes (when Service X17 is not operating).

Within Ingleby Barwick, Service 17 will operate via current Service X6 route.

From Sober Hall, buses will extend to Kingsmead in Yarm, via current Service X6 route every 60 minutes (when Service X17 is not operating).

Peak time services between Kingsmead, Yarm, Ingleby Barwick and Middlesbrough are available as Service X17 (see below).

Bassleton Court will only be served by Service 17 in the morning and afternoon when Service X17 is in operation (see below).

On Saturdays, Service 17b will not operate, instead a revised timetable consisting of Service 17 and 17a journeys will operate instead, up to every 15 minutes.

Due to low passenger usage, the last Sunday evening Service 17 journeys to Bassleton Court will be 21:05. Evening journeys Monday to Saturday are unchanged.

Service 21a - Middlesbrough to Peterlee

This service will see some morning and late afternoon timetable amendments, with the last journeys from Middlesbrough & Peterlee withdrawn. Middlesbrough

Service 22 - Middlesbrough to Ings Farm

This service will operate as now, however to a revised timetable.

Evening buses will continue to extend to .

Sunday Service 22a is withdrawn and replaced by new Sunday journeys on Service X4. A revised Service 22 will continue to operate on Sundays between Middlesbrough & New Marske, hourly.

Service 27, 27a - Middlesbrough to Netherfields

This service will see a revised timetable, with buses still operating up to every 7/8 minutes during the day between Middlesbrough & Netherfields (except Saturdays, see below).

Service 27a journeys will also be revised to terminate at Middlesbrough Bus Station on all journeys and therefore will no longer continue to serve Marton. This will be replaced by revisions to Service 29, 29a (see below).

On Saturdays, Service 27 and 27a will operate to a marginally reduced frequency of every 20 minutes each, or 10 minutes combined.

Service 28, 28b - Middlesbrough to Nunthorpe/

This service will be revised to operate every 20 minutes between Middlesbrough & Swans Corner, extending hourly to Lingdale as per current service arrangements. Buses will be re-routed within Nunthorpe to serve Mallowdale instead of Eagle Park, providing a requested link between Mallowdate & Nunthorpe again.

Service 28 will also be revised to operate via Saltersgill Estate to replace Service 30, but will omit Easterside. This new arrangement will see a frequency increase for bus users within Saltersgill.

Within , Service 28 will be further revised to operate via Hutton Lane, direct to Rectory Lane and will omit Adlenham Road and Hunters Hill for the majority of the day. We will however, still operate via Hunters Hill in the morning and late afternoon to retain the link to Middlesbrough for people who use the service to get to and from work. Middlesbrough Service 29, 29a - Middlesbrough to Marton/

This service will be revised to operate every 20 minutes between Middlesbrough & Southern Cross, via cur- rent route.

Buses will continue to operate via Easterside every 20 minutes. From the Southern Cross, Service 29 jour- neys will operate twice per hour to terminate at Cypress Road, replacing Service 27a in that area.

Once per hour, New Service 29a will alternatively operate via Eagle Park, Nunthorpe and Nunthorpe Vil- lage and onward to Stokesley. During the morning and afternoon peak however, we will be providing extra buses starting and finishing at Stokesley.

Service 30 - Middlesbrough to Saltersgill

This service will be withdrawn and replaced by revisions to Service 28 (see above).

Service 63 - to Middlesbrough

This service will see a revised route and timetable, in an effort to combat existing punctuality issues.

We are allocating an additional vehicle to the service to allow us to schedule more end to end journey time to aid punctuality. Furthermore, following the end of the current trialed route in Redcar (via Morrisons), we are reverting to the previous route of the service via Redcar Clock & Esplanade in both directions.

Buses will continue to operate up to every 10 minutes during the daytime, with certain peak only journeys terminating at Redcar High Street instead of Bus Station to further aid punctuality.

Service 64, 64a - Middlesbrough to Grangetown/New Marske

This service will see a revised timetable. Buses will continue to operate up to every 10 minutes between Middlesbrough & Grangetown Magnet.

Service 64 will be reduced to every 30 minutes and will continue to operate to Redcar and New Marske via current route.

Service 64a will be revised to operate four times per hour, via current route, ensuring the 10 minute fre- quency within the common sections is maintained and will terminate at Low Grange Farm for the majority of the day. Middlesbrough

Service X3, X3a - Middlesbrough to Lingdale/Skelton ASDA

This service will see a significantly revised route and timetable. Buses will operate every 30 minutes be- tween Middlesbrough & Saltburn Station Square (co-ordinated with Service X4 below to provide a bus every 15 minutes), before operating to Skelton via Hob Hill.

Service X3 will operate via Bowland Road & Windermere Drive in order to serve Skelton Medical Centre. From here, buses will operate via Coniston Road and Skelton High Street and then to Lingdale via current Service 4 route.

Service X3a will operate via full length of Coniston Road to Skelton High Street, then via Hollybush Estate to North Skelton before following the A174 bypass to terminate at Skelton ASDA for the majority of the day.

During the morning and afternoon peaks, some X3 and X3a journeys will omit Hob Hill & Saltburn in order to facilitate a fast link for commuters to Redcar from Skelton, North Skelton & Lingdale.

Service X4 - Middlesbrough to Loftus (with connections to Service 4 for Whitby)

This service will see a revised route and timetable. Buses will operate every 30 minutes between Middles- brough & Saltburn Station Square (co-ordinated with Service X3 above to provide a bus every 15 minutes). From Saltburn, buses will continue every 30 minutes to Loftus, however the service will omit Skinningrove & (see Service 5, 5a above for replacement options in these areas).

At Loftus, buses will provide a guaranteed connection to Service 4 to/from Whitby, with no change of bus required

Service X6 - Middlesbrough to Kingsmead

This service will be renumbered to Service X17 (see details above).
