DAY 1: DEPART Depart for Spain
DAY 2: GRANADA After arriving in Madrid and clearing Spanish customs and immigration, you will meet your KI Tour Manager and board the tour bus and enjoy sightseeing as you travel through the beautiful Spanish countryside en route to the renowned city of Granada in Alhambra Andalusia. After arriving in Granada you will check in to your hotel and enjoy your first Spanish dinner. Overnight Granada
DAY 3: GRANADA Waking up to the beautiful city of Granada, enjoy your first of daily breakfasts. After breakfast you will be taken on a guided city tour, seeing Catedral, Capilla Real, Madraza, Real Chancilleria, Lonja de Mercaderes, Albaicin bajo and Carrer del Darro. Tonight, you have the opportunity to sing your firstCONCERT. Overnight Granada Albaicin
Generalife Gardens DAY 4: GRANADA Today, you will have a guided visit to the famous Alhambra. The beautiful Calat Alhambra (Red Castle) is one of the most remarkable fortresses ever built. It was built in 889 AD and stands at the top of a wooded hill commanding views of the town, the Sacromonte Heights, and nearby hillsides gardens of the Generalife. After your morning tour of the Alhambra spend time shopping in Granada’s famous cultural market, the Alcaiceria or wander through the narrow-cobbled streets of the old Moorish Seville Old Quarter quarter, the Albayzin for beautiful city views. After the tour and dinner you will be dazzled with the drama and beauty of a Flamenco Show, a true Spanish spectacle with live dancing and guitar. Overnight Granada
DAY 5: SEVILLE Today we travel to the capital of Andalusia - Seville. After arriving in the city center, you will be delighted by an orientation tour of Seville. Along the way, you will see La Giralda - the bell tower of the Seville Cathedral dating back to the 1200’s, la Torre del Oro (the tower of gold) - a dodecagonal military watchtower built in the 13th century, and the Royal Alcazar - Seville’s Royal Palace, originally a Moorish fort built in the 10th century by the first Caliph of Andalusia. Check in to your hotel and enjoy another Spanish dinner. Overnight Seville
DAY 6: SEVILLE Awakening to the excitement of Seville, you will have a chance to enter and tour the beautiful Seville Cathedral of Saint Mary Torre del Oro followed by visiting and exploring the astonishing Plaza de Espana. Today you will have time to enjoy Seville’s bustling city center and prepare for tonight’s next performance and CONCERT. Overnight Seville
DAY 7: MADRID After another delicious breakfast, you will travel from Seville to Toledo, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here you will enjoy a tour of Toledo which for centuries was a great melting pot of Christian, Jewish, and Muslim cultures. You will see firsthand the Moorish Alcazar architecture and visit Toledo’s Primate Cathedral of Saint Mary, Spain’s most renowned Cathedral in the 13th-century High Gothic architecture. After free time to explore Toledo you will continue on to Madrid, check in to your hotel, and enjoy dinner. Overnight Madrid
Toledo DAY 8: MADRID You will be taken on a city tour of Madrid this morning which will include visiting Plaza de Colon where you can view the 55-foot column erected to commemorate Christopher Columbus before strolling along the Puerta del Sol and Plaza Mayor – Madrid’s social and shopping centers. Tonight, you will have a chance for an EXCHANGE PROGRAM (tbd) and CONCERT followed by dinner. Overnight Madrid
DAY 9: MADRID We take the chance to visit the magnificent Royal Palace the official residence of the Spanish Royal family this morning before touring other highlights of this great capital city. Options for the afternoon tour could include a visit to the Prado Museum or another of Madrid’s famed museums before preparing for our Farewell Dinner. Overnight Madrid Royal Palace DAY 10: DEPART Transfer to the airport and depart for home.
