Our Brinny site was established in Ireland in 1980 and currently employs over 500 people. Brinny specialises in the fermentation, purification and sterile filling of biotechnology products including two of the company’s most successful treatments for hepatitis C and rheumatoid arthritis. The site also produces new products which are used at a global level in clinical studies. In addition, Brinny has a European leadership role with regard to quality and hosts a range of global support services including IT and Customer Services & Planning. Medicines produced in Brinny earn in excess of €2 Billion sales per year for the company and are exported to 90 countries across the globe. Located 16 miles from Cork City, the Brinny facility is committed to the local community. The company actively supports local business, clubs and education through a variety of programmes.
