5. Other 1. Appointed Independent Director on the Board of CSC e-Governance Services Achievements India Ltd. by Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India in 2017. This company is the flagship company of Digital India Mission of the Govt. of India. i. Member of Audit Committee, CSR &Nomination & Remuneration Committee. ii. Invited to address over 500 digital entrepreneurs from across the nation at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. The programme was inaugurated by Hon’ble Minister for Electronics & Information Technology iii. Chaired the Content Committee for preparing study material for Entrepreneurial Training for 17000 individuals from 115 aspirational districts (as indicated by NITI Aayog). The training programme entitled ‘UdyamAbhilasha’ was a joint effort of CSC e-Governance Services India Ltd. and Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI).

As Member Secretary-Academic Advisory Body (Management Programmes) at LBSIM:Responsible for framing all academic policies of the institute.Chairman BOG-LBSIM is the Chairman of the Academic Advisory Body & the position is next to Director of the Institute in hierarchy. Members of the Academic Advisory Body are top academicians, senior industry leaders and bureaucrats. All key policy initiatives to be taken during the year are discussed and approved by the Advisory Body. Key Achievements:

i. As Member Secretary-Academic Advisory Board (Management Programmes) six meetings successfully organized till date. This position is equivalent of Dean-Planning of the institute and am responsible for planning academic activities for the next academic year and presenting to the board activities of the previous year. ii. Have been able to bring in several new members from industry and academia in the Advisory Body in last four years. iii. Have been successful in bringing about a change in orientation of the institute from input driven to output driven academic system which is a key premise for any accreditation whether national or international. iv. Attended accreditation seminars of AACSB at Mumbai and NUCB Business School, Nagoya, Japan &designed the Assurance of Learning (AOL) system and prepared first draft of Initial Self Evaluation Report (IsER) for AACSB Accreditation of LBSIM. v. Representative of LBSIM at Dean’s Summit of Deloitte University, Hyderabad and implemented inputs from the Summit in course curriculum of LBSIM.

3. As Professor Finance & Convener (Chair) Finance Area at LBSIM :

Responsible forteaching and managingFinance Area of the Institute. The area comprises of eight faculty members holding doctoral qualifications from top institutions in the country such as IIT Delhi, Faculty of Management Studies and Department of Financial Studies. Responsible for faculty selection, organizing conferences and seminars every year on emerging issues in Finance. In addition, the responsible for managing Centre for Risk Management, Mentor of student Finance Club- ‘Finesse’ & Student Investment Club- ‘Nivesh’.Key Achievements:

i. The Finance Area of LBSIM which I chair for past six years ranked 11th among top 50 Business Schoolsas per the rankings accorded by functional heads of 250 companies by The Economic Times, October 06, 2017. ii. Won ‘Best Paper Award’ for the paper ‘Innovations in Indian Financial System: Remedy for Economic Growth?’ presented at 8th UEM Congress, August 16-19, 2017 at Sasin Graduate Institute of Business Administration, Bangkok iii. Book entitled “Digital Interventions for Economic Growth” co-edited with Prof. G L Sharma, Dr. Anuj Verma and Dr. Nidhi Malhotra and published by Macmillan Education recently. iv. Book entitled “Financial System Reforms & Economic Growth in India: Issues & Challenges” co-edited with Prof. G L Sharma and Dr. Monika Chopraand published by McGraw Hill Education in 2017. v. Book entitled “Financial System and its Regulation in India” co-edited with Prof. G L Sharma and Dr. V.K. Mehta (IES) was published by McGraw Hill Education in 2015. The foreword of the book has been written by Shri Yashwant Sinha, former Finance & External Affairs Minister of India. vi. Revised entire curriculum of finance area in last five years and changed it from input oriented to output oriented. vii. Introduced several new electives and aligned them with practical skills required by industry. viii. Identified and recruited top industry experts as visiting and adjunct faculty. Successful in locating & recruiting excellent full-time faculty members over last three years. ix. Organized four major conferences on ‘Digital Interventions for Economic Growth’, ‘Financial System Regulations’, ‘Financial Risk Management’ &‘Financial System Reforms & Economic Growth’ andET Summit entitled ‘Investment Wise’ & ‘Risky Business’ at LBSIM Campus between 2013 and 2018. x. The next conferences are being planned on ‘Digital Finance: Issues & Challenges’ in association with Northern Illinois University, USA on ‘Innovations in Commodity Trading in India’ in association with Multi Commodity Exchange, Mumbai. xi. Introduced ‘Bloomberg Finance Laboratory’ with 12 terminals, ‘IBM Analytics Laboratory’ and social investing site ‘Trak-Invest’ at the institute. Could motivate faculty colleagues and students in improving research output using tools learnt in the IBM laboratory and utilizing data from Bloomberg for research and training. xii. Helped students organize several events apart from successfully running the student investment fund ‘Nivesh’ xiii. Organized FDPs and was invited as expert to conduct training sessions at premier institutions of the country in the MDPs & FDPs conducted by them. xiv. Regularly invited as distinguished speaker by several premier training and academic institutions.

4. As In-Charge Accreditations, International linkages & Corporate Collaborations at LBSIM: Responsible for accreditation (national & international) and linkages with international institutions. Responsible for all documentation related to AACSB membership, IAO & NBA along with international linkages. Key Achievements:

i. Successful in signing MoUs with Northern Illinois University, USA, European Higher School for Economics & Management, State University of New York, USA, Nippissing University, & student immersion Programme with Nanyang Business School, NTU, Singapore. Have been able to associate the Institute with top Universities and Companies of India and other countries. ii. The institute has successfully proceeded from attaining membership of AACSB in 2014 to appointment of mentor in 2016. Instrumental in completion of Initial Self Evaluation Report (ISER) of the AACSB Accreditation in 2017 in close collaboration with Prof. Sean Fergusson, Director-HKUST & Mentor AACSB for LBSIM. iii. Successfully signed an MoU with MCX (India’s largest commodity exchange) & ZS Associates (a top consulting firm). MCX provided funding for research & organizing conferences apart from providing summer internships and placements to students of LBSIM. ZS-Associates a global consulting firm sends its non-MBA employees for studying at LBSIM in its Part-Time & Executive programmes. iv. Instrumental in NBA accreditation for academic year 2016-19 for PGDM- General & PGDM-Finance Programmes.

5. As Faculty Convener Placement Committee- Full Time Programmes, LBSIM: Responsible for coordinating with companies and student placement committee. Key Achievements:

i. Have been able to improve placement record, job descriptions and average emoluments of the students at the institute over the last six years. The average emolument of the passing out graduate has risen from 6.4 to 9.4 lakhs per annumin last six years. ii. Have been able to connect with several new organizations including consulting firms namely PWC, Delloitte, BMR Advisors, Financial research firm Mazar’s, Gartner, Global KPO Arcesium/DE Shaw& Multi Commodity Exchange etc. in last six years.

6. As Chairman/Convener-LBSIM Library & Resource Centre Committee: Responsible for overall functioning and improvement in Library resources to serve all stakeholders. Key achievements:
