The first integrated casino resort (“ICR”) in Cyprus, City of Dreams Mediterranean, the only one of its kind in Europe, is expected to open its doors in 2021. A world leading development and landmark for Cyprus and the wider region, the casino resort is set to boost tourism in Cyprus attracting an additional 300,000 tourists annually and contributing significantly to alleviating seasonality. During the construction period, the project is expected to create around 4,000 jobs per year in Cyprus. Once the resort is fully operational, the resort is expected to contribute to approximately 2,400 permanent jobs. After the second year of operation, the Integrated Casino- Resort is expected to contribute approximately €700 million per year to the Cypriot economy, amounting to around 4% of the country’s annual GDP.

A temporary casino, Cyprus Casinos Limassol (“C2 Limassol”), opened to the public on 28 June 2018 and will operate until City of Dreams Mediterranean is completed in 2021. The project also includes the operation of four satellite casinos C2 Nicosia, C2 Larnaca, C2 Ayia Napa and C2 Paphos.
