Chapter - 1 Executive Summary The said project is for Manufacturing of Pharmaceutical Formulations. It has been established at Plot No. C-10/2, SARA Industrial Estate Ltd., Village Rampur, Dehradun-Chakrata Road, Selaqui in Dehradun district of Uttrakhand State by the previous management of M/s Dr. Mittal Laboratories Pvt. Ltd. M/s Dr. Mittal Laboratories Pvt. Ltd is a Private Limited Company duly incorporated under the provisions of the Indian Companies Act, 1956 having Registration No. as U24234UR2005PTC031167 dated 29th December 2005 under Registrar of Companies, UP & Uttaranchal, Kanpur and having its Registered Office same as the factory site at C 10/2, Sara Industrial Estate Ltd., Village Rampur, Dehradun- Chakrata Road, Selaqui, Dehradun, Uttrakhand. The Company also registered under District Industries Centre, Industrial Development Department, Govt. of Uttaranchal. The EM Number is 05 05 02 0234 Part –II dated 27/03/2008. The total area of the project is 1185 Sq. Meters. The sale deed was made at Dehradun on 13th September, 2006 between M/s SARA Industrial Estate Ltd, a corporate body, incorporated under the Companies Act having its registered office at 7/1, Pritam Road, Dehadun, Uttaranchal(priestly Uttrakhand) though its Estate Manager and M/s Dr. Mittal Laboratories Pvt. Ltd. SARA Industrial Estate is notified by the Industry Department, Govt. of Uttaranchal in 2005. Geographical Location of Project Area is at Latitude – 300 22’ 41.08’’ N and Longitude – 770 50’ 08.89” E . The Altitude of the project site is 1684 ft. It is a well-defined and developed industrial area. The area comes under Vikas Nagar Tehsil of Dehradun district. The said industrial estate is notified by the Industry Department , Govt. of Uttaranchal in 2005. The site is linked to Dehradun- Chandigarh Highway 72 at a distance of 0.8 km in the east direction. The Jolly Grant Airport at Dehradun is at a distance of 40.0 kms from the project area by road. Dehradun Railway station at a distance of 21.0 kms. from the project area by road. Selaqui is the nearest town at a distance of 03 Km from the project site by road. Similarly the nearest city & District Head Quarter is Dehradun at a distance of 21.0 kms. from the project area by road. The project was initially promoted, established and run by the previous proponent Dr. Sanjiv Mittal a Medical Graduate (MBBS) from Sarojini Naidu Medical College, Agra and Post Graduate (M.D. Medicine). The unit has been taken over by the present management in October 2016. Present Directors of the company are Mr. Ankit Gupta and Mr. Chandraksh Pant. Mr. Ankit Gupta is perusing his CA and MBA and is having experience of accounts since last 5 years. He is also involved in pharmaceuticals business since last two years. He is also having the knowledge for preparing the cost sheets of the formulations along with the procurement of active and inactive materials. The second Mr. Chandraksh Pant is engaged into pharmaceuticals business since 1996 and has a fair good idea of exports. He also has a fair good idea working under Loan license as he was having two Loan Licenses for tablet capsules and liquids. He was actively involved in production and procurement of raw material. In the last few decades, India’s population has been increased and there is demand for various medicines for this good number of population during their different medical treatments. In order to fulfill this need, more production of Pharmaceutical Formulations is needed. The Proponent has expertise in the manufacturing of above Pharmaceutical Formulations. There is a growing demand for the pharmaceutical products internationally as well as in the domestic market. A need has therefore been felt to establish the unit for manufacturing of Pharmaceutical Formulations. These products are having National market and still demand is more than supply so manufacturing of these items are feasible. The Proposed Company does not see any difficulty in marketing their products as the two essential points in marketing a product i.e. product quality & packing and experience are reasonable in favor of the Promoters. The cost for indigenous product is much less than the same product being imported. As Imported product cost includes additional custom duty as well as international fright. Keeping in view of financial position of Indian population indigenous product is necessary. Entire product shall be of export quality and possibilities of export will be explored. There is domestic market of this product but export shall also be done. With this project, direct employment generation of 25 persons will be there in worker/supervisor/ managerial category. Indirect generation of employment will also be there in way of contractors, transportation, suppliers, other service providers with continues chain of employment. The products such as Pharma Tablets : 10.00 Lacs per shift/Day, Pharma Capsules : 1.00 lac per shift/Day and Oral Liquid Syrup : 5,000 bottles per shift/Day) will be manufactured by Dr. Mittal Laboratories Pvt. Ltd. All raw materials are indigenously available in Indian market. The total water requirement for the project is 3.25 KLD. The water will be sourced from the water supplied by the Sara Industrial Estate Ltd or Groundwater through deep bore well. Necessary permission will be obtained from CGWA. Total Power requirement is 75 KVA and will be met from Uttarakhand Electricity Board. A DG set of 62.5 KVA will be installed. The process waste water will be treated in ETP of capacity 2.5 KLD. The project will operational after obtaining Environmental Clearance from SEIAA, Uttrakhand, Consent to Establish and Consent to Operate from State Pollution Control Board, Uttrakhnad and other Statutory Clearances, if any. About 33% of the total land will be developed as green belt. Mixed and local species, will be selected for plantation. The green belt is planned to be completed in two seasons. No settlements exist within the project area. The unit is in developed industrial estate. So, R & R plan is not required. The project cost is Rs.170.00 lacs (Rupees One hundred seventy lacs) only. The Company has been incorporated under companies Act, 1956. The Registration No. is U24234UR2005PTC031167 dated 29th December 2005 under Registrar of Companies, UP & Uttaranchal, Kanpur.
