Dehradun is a well-known place around 250 km Northeast of Delhi in the state of Uttarakhand.

When you come out of Railway station in Dehradun, there is a Taxi stand about 100 yards on the left side. Taxi will charge you INR 600 during daytime and INR 700 for the night. From the Dehradun Railway Station (Taxi Stand), head south through the village of Majra traveling approximately 5.5 km until you reach the Old Shimla Road . The turnoff for the Old Shimla Road is not very well marked, but it is very close to Hilton School , and the distance given is very precise. Once you turn onto Old Shimla Road , continue for 16.5 km through a series of small villages (Mehuwala, Bhuddi, Ganeshpur, Nayagaon-Pelio, Bhoodpur). The village closest to the campus is Ramgarh , and once you reach the point 16.5 km along the road, you will see a sign for Navdanya "Bija Vidyapeeth".

If you are coming by car or bus from Delhi , you need not to go to City. After reaching ISBT, find the Shimla Road , about 500 yards towards city (close to the Hilton School). Take a left turn and follow the road as above.

If you are coming from Haridwar or Rishikesh, while entering Dehradun take the Haridwar bypass road which goes up to ISBT, find the Shimla Road , about 500 yards towards city (close to the Hilton School). Take a left turn and follow the road as above.

Cheaper option to reach our farm is: come out of the Railway station to the Saharanpur road, about 150 yards to the left side. Take auto no. 5 (towards left, without crossing the road) to Old Shimla Road ( Shimla By Pass ). Stop near Hilton School, cross the road, and take bus for village Ramgarh. Ask conductor to drop you at Navdanya Farm in village Ramgarh near Bundu Ki Chakki. You’ll find bus every 30 minutes from 6.00am to 6.00 pm every day.

While coming from Paonta Sahib, or Vikasnagar, after reaching Herbertpur take the road to Dhamawala. Follow the road until you reach Ramgarh. On the way you will cross several small villages. Please locate the board of the Bija Vidyapeeth on the right side. Take right turn and walk or drive through mango orchard to reach the campus.
