Between Sunday 7 and Tuesday 23 April inclusive, no trains will run between Shotton and Bidston. Buses will be provided between Shotton and Birkenhead North. This is due to platform upgrade work
Due to engineering works in the Swansea area, the following services will be amended:
19:31 Manchester Piccadilly to Fishguard Harbour will be diverted via the Swansea district line and will run earlier to Carmarthen. 22:14 Fishguard Harbour to Swansea will terminate at Swansea. 00:15 Swansea to Carmarthen will start from Llanelli. 02:59 Carmarthen to Swansea will not run. 04:53 Carmarthen to Llandovery will start earlier at 04:51. 05:03 Carmarthen to Manchester Piccadilly will start earlier at 04:59. 05:45 Swansea to Pembroke Dock sill start from Llanelli at 06:05. 06:04 Swansea to Crewe will start from Llanelli at 06:25. Replacement road transport from Port Talbot Parkway will stop at intermediate stops to Swansea and Gowerton.

As a result of this, buses will replace trains between Chepstow and Newport. On Monday, the 05:20 Bristol Temple Meads to Cardiff Central service will not run, a bus will run from Bristol Temple Meads at 05:20, calling at Bristol Parkway at 05:40 and Newport at 06:18.

Due to engineering work taking place between between Chester and Crewe, the following alterations are in place:
04:22 Chester to Birmingham New Street service will start from Crewe at 04:59. Customers from Chester should travel on the earlier 03:50 road replacement transport. 04:50 Crewe to Milford Haven service will start from Shrewsbury at 05:36. An additional 04:50 Crewe to Shrewsbury trains will connect into this service at Shrewsbury.
Engineering work is taking place between Radyr and Aberdare / Merthyr Tydfil, closing some lines.
21:42 Bridgend to Aberdare will terminate at Pontypridd. A 23:19 replacement bus service will run from Pontypridd to Aberdare 21:56 Barry Island to Merthyr Tydfil will terminate at Pontypridd. A 23:04 replacement bus will run from Pontypridd to Merthyr Tydfil 22:45 Barry Island to Pontypridd will terminate at Radyr. A 23:48 replacement bus will run from Radyr to Pontypridd

The 20:17 Cardiff Central to Manchester Piccadilly service will terminate at Crewe. A replacement bus will run between Crewe and Manchester Piccadilly. The 22:36 Manchester Piccadilly to Shrewsbury service will be diverted to run via Stoke- on-Trent. A replacement bus will run from Stockport to Crewe.
