Rappel: le GR 34 est un parcours côtier qui relie, "à la douanière", le Mont St Michel à St Nazaire - 1700 kms de régal pédestre qui enlace la Bretagne. 70/80 jours pour qui veut le réaliser d'une traite. Un environnement extraordinaire, entre les rias, les plages de sable fin, les rochers dantesques, la mer et les cieux bretons riches de leurs couleurs ajoutées aux fragrances envoûtantes des marées. En mai dernier, avec Thérèse, Claude et Michel nous avions parcouru le Tour du Golfe du Morbihan (également Gr 34), lors d'une amicale randonnée vraiment "goûteuse" de 180 kms avec bonheur et extraordinaires souvenirs partagés. Je choisis, cette fois, de parcourir cette "randonnade" finistérienne, en solo, en autonomie, (sac en lourd, 14/15 kgs avec tente Coleman solo, duvet 0/-5°, sans réchaud). En solo, il faut d'abord bien gérer/écouter son corps, assumer et toujours tout anticiper par une logistique très attentive, s'ouvrir à toutes les opportunités de découvertes et rencontres constructives.

Plus l’activité physique est simple et régulière, tout au long de la vie, plus elle est efficace. Une fois ces deux données posées, encourager la marche quotidienne, activité physique naturelle, gratuite, sans contre-indication médicale puisque sans risque, semble une évidence pour construire les socles d’une bonne santé. Les recommandations actuelles de santé de l’OMS, pour les enfants et adolescents de 5 à 17 ans, sont de pratiquer une activité physique modérée à élevée à raison d’une heure par jour. Mais rares sont les jeunes qui respectent ces conseils de bonne santé, notamment en France où 82,4 % des garçons et 91,8 % des filles ne respectent pas ces recommandations de santé. Les villes moins accessibles à la marche, les inquiétudes à propos de la sécurité dans les rues, la rareté des aires de jeux, la paresse naturelle incitant à minimiser les efforts paraissant inutiles et surtout la révolution numérique ont exclu l’activité physique de la vie quotidienne des enfants. La surexposition aux écrans (ordinateur, console de jeux, télévision), qui vole du temps pour d’autres activités essentielles, entraine un autre facteur de risque, la sédentarité définie par le temps cumulé dans la journée, en position assise, qui ne doit pas dépasser 8 heures. La physiologie des enfants et des adultes ne peut pas s’adapter à ce bouleversement d’environnement qu’il faut donc rapidement contrer pour que les générations actuelles et futures aient une vie plus active et saine.
