• The following submissions have been Issued-For- Construction: – Structures throughout the alignment including Rail Bridges at Airport , Uplands, Leitrim, Bowesville, Earl Armstrong and Lester; and, – Utility Relocations throughout the alignment.

3 O-Train South Design Progress

• The City has received construction drawings of the following project elements: – ; – Guideway for the Airport Link; and, – Structures throughout the alignment including High Road MUP Bridge, Limebank Road Elevated Guideway, Airport Elevated Guideway, VIA Grade Separation, Rideau River Pedestrian Bridge.

4 O-Train South Design Progress

• The City has received final design drawings of the following project elements: – Guideway for the South Extension to Limebank; – Guideway for the existing portion of the line; – Landscape design for the existing line and Airport Link; – Dow’s Lake Tunnel, including Tunnel Ventilation; and – Vehicle elements, including the driver’s cab, interior layout and HVAC System.

5 O-Train South Design Progress

• The City has received pre-final design drawings of the following project elements: – Maintenance and Storage Facility (MSF); – Operational Modelling for the Overall System and the MSF; – Signaling and Train Control System; – Greenboro, Carleton, Mooney’s Bay, Gladstone and Walkley Stations; and, – Communication Systems designs for Greenboro and Carleton Stations and interface control documents for several subsystems on the project.

6 O-Train South Construction Progress

• Rock excavation started on Gladstone Station; • Walkley Maintenance and Storage Facility structure construction has commenced; • Work has commenced at Ellwood Diamond grade separation. Caisson construction is underway; • Work has begun on Carleton south MUP; and, • Commenced work at and Bowesville Stations.

• Bridge girder installation complete at , Uplands Drive, Lester Road, and Bowesville Road; • Airport guideway girder installation underway; • Guideway construction is 40% complete between and Limebank/Airport Link; and, • Rail welding has started.

Preparations for deck formwork and rebar are underway at Lester Road Rail Bridge.

13 Leitrim Road Rail Bridge

Retaining wall construction is progressing at the Leitrim Road Rail Bridge.

14 Bowesville Road Rail Bridge

Crews hoist girders into place at Bowesville Road.

15 Limebank Elevated Guideway

Foundation and embankment work are underway at Limebank Road.

16 Airport Parkway Rail Bridge

Crews install girders over the Airport Parkway in early July.

17 Uplands Drive Rail Bridge

Deck panel work completed at Uplands Drive Rail Bridge in preparations for deck formwork.

18 Upcoming Work

• Trench widening to continue between and Beech Street as well as at Carling Station; • Caisson excavation to continue at Ellwood Diamond Rail Bridge (grade separation with VIA Rail); • Walkley Maintenance and Storage Facility steel structure construction to continue; • Rail Bridge construction to commence; and, • Construction to begin at South Keys, Bowesville, and Uplands Stations.

19 Traffic and Mobility Impacts

Location Timeline Traffic & Mobility Impacts The existing will be closed to May 2020 to O-Train Line 2 allow upgrades to the line, existing stations August 2022 and the construction of new stations.

Multi-use path (MUP) Summer 2020 to Extension of the station will require at Fall 2021 temporary closure of the MUP in this area.

Drilling and rock excavation to widen the MUP at Gladstone Summer 2020 rail corridor at Gladstone will temporarily impact access to the MUP in this area. Minor detour to Trillium Pathway north of MUP at Carling Fall 2020

52 Stakeholder Engagement

• As a result of the intensification of COVID-19 in mid-March, all in-person public meetings transitioned to digital formats. • Staff continue to engage with Councillors and community stakeholders as work progresses by sharing information through digital tools such as the project website, newsletter and quarterly progress videos. • Stakeholders are encouraged to subscribe to the Stage 2 newsletter via .ca/stage2 to receive project updates and area specific eNotices.
