LBC (http://www.lbc.co.uk/) 97.3 FM announces Londoner’s Top Spots Living London Awards 2006 (http://www.lbc.co.uk/Article.asp?id=228401) South East London wins the north/south debate as voted for by the public! The winners of LBC 97.3FM’s (http://www.lbc.co.uk/) 3rd annual Living London Awards 2006 (http://www.lbc.co.uk/Article.asp?id=228401), were announced today revealing that South East London was the home of the best lifestyle venues in 8/10 categories. At a ceremony taking place at the Café De Paris on Friday 30th June, LBC 97.3FM’s (http://www.lbc.co.uk/) weekend breakfast show host, Paul Ross, announced the winners in categories ranging from Best Coffee Shop, Bar, Bookshop to Restaurant and more, revealing a white wash for South East London. The ceremony had guest appearances from Jenny Éclair, Kenny Sansom, Jo Parkerson, Wendy Lloyd, and Steve Allen and was attended by the top 33 short listed venues. The whole show is due to be broadcast on LBC 97.3FM (http://www.lbc.co.uk/) during Cream from 5pm on Sunday. The Living London (http://www.lbc.co.uk/Article.asp?id=228401) Awards were set up in 2003 to celebrate Londoner’s local secrets and hidden gems in 11 lifestyle categories. All the nominated venues were chosen exclusively by LBC 97.3FM (http://www.lbc.co.uk/) listeners and readers of The Independent (http://www.independent.co.uk/). The winners were chosen entirely on the highest number of votes.
