Installation Instruction for Google Chrome 1. Preface The OnStar Dealer web Portal for Europe can be used and operated from Google Chrome browser version 34 and above. This new application leverages HTML5 and will not run on Internet Explorer 8 or Internet Explorer 9.

Trying to open the Dealer portal web site with a browser that does not meet the minimum required update will result in the following error message:

This document will explain how to download and install Google Chrome on a computer running Windows operation system with Internet Explorer.

2. Downloading and Installing Google Chrome

Step 1

Open Internet Explorer and type into the address bar the following: https://www.google.com/chrome/browser/desktop/index.html

Step 2 – Opening the download page The following page will appear:

Click on the blue button that says “Download Chrome”

Step 3 – Accepting Google Chrome Terms of Service A new window will pop up. Please assure that the “Set Google Chrome as my default browser” check mark field is NOT SELECTED!!!

Must NOT be selected!

Step 4 – User Account Control Additional window may pop up asking you to allow the installer to make changes. Click on “yes”

Step 5 – Application Run - Security Warning Additional window may pop up asking you to allow the installer to run. Click on “Run”

Step 6 – User Account Control Again, Additional window may pop up asking you to allow the installer to make changes.

Click on “yes” and then a new pop up window will appear:

When the download completes, google chrome will open automatically.

Instructions to access OnStar Portal and create shortcut 1. When Chrome browser opens, enter the following URL: https://rtl.eur.onstar.com

2. Navigate to Tools->Add to TaskBar

3. Select the Add
