87 Zoho Swingadelic Blues 2020 Bluesville Swingadelic is a neo-swing large ensemble led by bassist Dave Post. They are a New York-based collective that morphs into different configurations to suit the venue and the song. Bluesville is a celebration of all types of blues: electric, acoustic, instrumental and vocal. They do a fine take on ’ “Mary Ann” featuring John Bauers singing. Vanessa Perea sings “What’s Your Story, Morning Glory” supported by strong brass. John Bauers takes the mic of “Lonely Avenue” with Kyle Koehler working the organ. These are just a few of the winners in 14 blues tracks that will satisfy a wide audience. Adonis Rose Piece of Mind NOLA-based drummer Adonis Rose brings it on Piece Of Mind, recorded live at the Blue Llama Jazz Club in Ann Arbor, 83 MI. The funky backdrop from bassist Jasen Weaver with R&B+Jazz Rose is established on the first track “Keep Your Soul Photo: Innovative Percussion Storyville Together” with stirring solos from Maurice Brown (t), Tia Fuller (a-sax) and 2020 Miki Hayama (keyboards). That sets the stage for a really engaging session. Sasha Masakowski softens the mood on “Entropy” and Fuller shines on “Nostalgic Impressions”. Whether you are chilling on the title track or jammin’ hard on the New Orleans beat of “Maurice’s Rap”, this is a winning hand.!
