I think this month I will just reflect on the car – the ultimate driving machine – our beloved Porsches! The key word in that last sentence was “driving”. There are a few differing reasons why Porschephiles buy the cars they do. Some simply like to collect them, and maybe display a rare model in a concours or two. Others like to drive them on Daisy Pettem, along with a car full of happy passengers, weekends, when the weather is nice and sunny and they can put the tops down slides through the Eiskhana autocross on frozen on their cabriolets or participate in tours with dozens of other Porsches.
