Framework The German Federal Government has exclusive legislative authority in foreign affairs (Art. 73 no. 1 of the German Basic Law). The Foreign Service consists of the Foreign Office (headquarters) and the foreign missions, which together constitute one unitary, federal supreme authority (oberste Bundesbehörde). The tasks and organisation, as well as the legal status of members of the Foreign Service, are set down in the Foreign Service Act (FSA) of 30 August 1990 [Federal Law Gazette I 2002, p.1842], as amended by the First Act Amending the Foreign Service Act of 20 June 2002 [Federal Law Gazette I 2002, p. 2001 (attached)]. The Foreign Office headquarters steers the work of the foreign missions, assesses their reports and analyses, and on this basis draws up foreign policy blueprints for government policy. Headquarters also co-ordinates the foreign policy activities of other ministries and the federal states (Bundesländer) to ensure a uniform approach to German foreign policy and security policy. The Foreign Office consists of 11 departments and four regional political directorates, which in turn comprise divisions focusing on specific policy areas or geographical regions. Gripped by nationalism and ensnared by competing interests, mutual mistrust, and Ialliances, they made a series of tragic miscalculations that resulted in 40 million casualties.     [#ESPOP] Encuesta de Satisfacción Política y Opinión Pública Febrero 2018 11 Metodología • Estos son hallazgos de la encuesta de satisfacción política y opinión pública de la Universidad de San Andrés. En total fueron realizadas 1001 entrevistas entre el 12 y el 23 de Febrero de 2018 a adultos de 18-64 años conectados a internet, en Argentina. • La encuesta se realiza en 23 provincias y la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires vía el Panel online de Netquest. La muestra es proporcional al tamaño de las provincias (con algunos ajustes para garantizar base de lectura) y representativa a nivel de las regiones. Las provincias fueron agrupadas en 5 regiones: NOA, NEA, Cuyo, Centro, Patagonia, y Buenos Aires dividida a su vez en CABA, GBA e interior de la Provincia de Buenos Aires. Se aplicaron cuotas de sexo, edad y nivel socioeconómico. • La encuesta versa sobre satisfacción con el desempeño de los poderes políticos y las políticas públicas y sobre la opinión respecto de los principales líderes políticos nacionales, grupos y sectores, ministros y gobernadores. Algunas preguntas siguen una serie de tiempo basada en la encuesta de Indicadores de Satisfacción Política Institucional (ISPI) realizada por la Universidad de San Andrés e Ipsos de Marzo de 2016 a Mayo de 2017. En la presente investigación se modificaron las escalas numéricas de satisfacción y opinion (antes de 1-10) por escalas ordinales de 4 categorías (dos positivas y dos negativas). Los valores de las series de tiempo fueron recategorizados para ser comparabales con las nuevas mediciones. • Cuando los resultados no sumen 100, puede deberse a redondeos computacionales,, respuestas múltiples o la exclusión de los que no saben o no contestan.

Si bien actualmente existe discusión en torno al tipo de vínculo que debe establecerse entre los funcionarios del Estado con el sector empresario para favorecer un sendero de desarrollo, hay un consenso bastante amplio acerca de los riesgos que para el desarrollo económico, para la inclusión social y para la democratización de la vida política que implica la colonización por parte de las fracciones del capital concentrado del aparato estatal. La historia argentina tiene pruebas suficientes acerca de la existencia de estos nexos estrechos y las implicancias nocivas que tienen para el desarrollo y el bienestar del pueblo. El enraizamiento del sector privado sobe el aparato del Estado tiene un denominador común que atraviesa históricamente los distintos ciclos de acumulación y que se trata del afán de la burguesía local por la obtención de rentas de privilegio, (muy alejadas de lo que en la literatura económica se conoce como las rentas tecnológicas schumpeterianas de carácter transitorias), y más asociadas al carácter parasitario de corporaciones empresarias que se expanden al calor de los recursos públicos y la protección del estado. Los aceitados vínculos entre las fracciones concentradas del capital y los militares del último gobierno de facto posibilitaron el surgimiento de lo que se conoció como la “Patria Contratista” que derivó en espacios privilegiados para la acumulación de capital.

Basketball diplomacy is also a lens to observe the evolution of American power from 1893 through present day. Basketball connects and permeates foreign cultures and effectively disseminates American influence unlike any other form of soft power, which is most powerfully illustrated by the United States’ basketball relationship with China. American basketball diplomacy will become stronger and connect with more countries with greater influence, and exist without relevant competition, until the likely rise of China in the indefinite future.

It appears that on the 19th instant, the day after the local elections were finished^ Dr. Rauschning wrote to the 8Bnati a long letter stating that he was prepared to return to office if his policy, which be outlined, would be followed. Mr. Rauschning had declared to Mr. Forster that he would only re- tire if and when the Party in power withdrew its confidence and that the lack of confidence must be declared not by the Gauleiter but by the National Socialist parliamentary fraction itself. lir. Rauschning refrained from any action during the electoral campaign but in his letter of the 19th instant he declared that his health was no obstacle to returning to his post, but before doing so the Party would have to declare it- self in accord with his policy. He underlined first the diver- gences with Mr. Forster with regard to economic and financial situation in Danzig, and on matters relating to the conduct of internal affairs. With regard to the financial and economic position the difference with Forster would appear to be that on the one side Forster counted on the continuation of German financial support, and on the other Mr. Rauschning doubted .if this would be possible and held that in any case Danzig should endeavour to solve its difficulties without external help.

    Encuesta de Satisfacción Política y Opinión Pública #ESPOP Abril 2018 1 Metodología • Estos son hallazgos de la encuesta de satisfacción política y opinion pública de la Universidad de San Andrés. En total fueron realizadas 1004 entrevistas entre el 16 y el 23 de Abril de 2018 a adultos de 18-64 años conectados a internet, en Argentina. • La encuesta se realiza en 23 provincias y la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires vía el Panel online de Netquest. La muestra es proporcional al tamaño de las provincias (con algunos ajustes para garantizar base de lectura) y representativa a nivel de las regiones. Las provincias fueron agrupadas en 5 regiones: NOA, NEA, Cuyo, Centro, Patagonia, y Buenos Aires dividida a su vez en CABA, GBA e interior de la Provincia de Buenos Aires. Se aplicaron cuotas de sexo, edad y nivel socioeconómico. • La encuesta versa sobre satisfacción con el desempeño de los poderes políticos y las políticas públicas y sobre la opinion respecto de los principals líderes politicos nacionales, grupos y sectores, ministros y gobernadores. Algunas preguntas siguen una serie de tiempo basada en la encuesta de Indicadores de Satisfacción Política Institucional (ISPI) realizada por la Universidad de San Andrés e Ipsos de Marzo de 2016 a Mayo de 2017. En la presente investigación se modificaron las escalas numéricas de satisfacción y opinion (antes de 1-10) por escalasordinales de 4 categorías (dos positivas y dos negativas). Los valores de las series de tiempo fueron recategorizados para ser comparabales con las nuevas mediciones. • Cuando los resultados no sumen 100, eso puede deberse a redondeos computacionales,, respuestas múltiples o la exclusión de los que no saben o no contestan.
