The all-expense tours shown below arc included in Summer Tourist Tariff. Railway ticket agents may draw prepaid orders for these tours in connection with rail tickets at rates and under conditions shown in tariff. One to Six-Day All-Expense Tours.

The following all-expense tours, varying in length from one to six days are available during the entire Park season, June 15 to September 15, except as noted, with each tour. This affords a wide variety of tours, but it is suggested that the two 4-day tours, viz., Tour 4-A and Tour 4-B offer the best opportunity for the tourist to visit the most scenic portions of the Park. Cost of Each Tour begins with dinner on the day of arrival and ends with lunch on the day of departure, and is based on passengers arriving at Glacier Park on trains Nos. 1, 41 or 2 and departing on trains Nos. 1, 2 or 42, and arriving on train No. 4 and departing on train No. 4. These costs vary when passengers arrive on train No. 3, or arrive or depart at times other than those shown above, as follows: Passengers Arriving on trains Nos. 1-41-2, leaving on train No.4, dinner on day of departure, extra SI.50. Passengers Arriving on train No. 3, leaving on trains Nos. 1-2-42, lunch day of arrival, extra SI.25. Passengers Arriving on train No. 3, leaving on train No. 4, lunch day of arrival and dinner day of departure, extra $2.75. Passengers Arriving on train No. 4, leaving on trains Nos. 1-2-42, secure refund of dinner day of arrival and Two Medicine side trip, S5.75. The cost is also based on two or more persons occupying one room without bath at Glacier Park Hotel, and Going-to-the-Sun Chalets, and rooms with bath at Prince of Wales Hotel. Railway Ticket Agents will note that the Summer Tourist Tariff authorizes the sale of prepaid orders for Park Tours at the exact rate quoted only, regardless of the time of passengers' arrival or departure. They will also note that prepaid orders for tours 4A and 6 cannot be issued until reservations have been confirmed and we have specifically granted an authority.

The "Big Trees Lodge" as the Blackfcet Indians have so aptly named it, is fashioned out of huge fir trees and immense cedars, many of them monarchs of the forests requiring from five hundred to eight hun dred years to grow. The hotel consists of two units, the main building, and an annex containing sleeping accommodations. Its two hundred rooms are provided with telephones for house use as well as for com munication with other points in the Park. All the essential comforts of the modern hotel are provided, such as steam heat, electric lights, rooms with private bath and with connecting bath. Most of the rooms are arranged en suite. The large lobby with its cheerful open campfire, the sun room facing the mountains, and the dining room comprise the first floor of the main building. An observation room one hundred feet long leads directly from the hotel lobby to the annex. The Glacier Park Hotel, as are all the hotels and chalets in Glacier Park, is conducted on the American Plan. The meals and service are maintained at a high standard. The best food products are used, and the object of the management is to serve meals that would tempt the palate in one's home or club. Glacier Park Hotel is the starting point for the interior of Glacier Park and for the Prince of Wales Hotel, Waterton Lakes National Park. Daily during the season The Glacier Park Transport Company provides a service with modern eleven passenger auto-busses between Glacier Park Hotel, Many-Glacier Hotel, the Prince of Wales Hotel, and intermediate points in connection with the boat service on St. Mary Lake to Going-to-the-Sun Chalets. The main road, the Blackfeet Highway, crosses the Indian Reservation and parallels the main range of the Rockies, traversing the sparsely forested but richly flowered valleys of the Two Medicine, the Cut Bank, the headwaters of the Milk, the St. Mary, the Swiftcurrent, and the Belly Rivers, mounting the ridges which separate these waterways to afford incomparable views of snow-patched peaks, mountain lakes, and glaciers on the one hand and sweeping panoramas of rolling plains on the other. An Information and transportation department is maintained in the lobby of the Glacier Park Hotel where detailed information regarding trips, points of interest, and cost of tours is given. Automobile and saddle horse reservations may be arranged for and tickets purchased. Store—A store in the hotel has outing clothing, tobacco, candy, curios, fishing tackle, cameras, films, etc., for sale. Developing and Printing—Kodak developing and printing work left at the hotel store before 5:00 P. M. will be ready at that hour the following day. Fishing Tackle—Outfits may be rented for 50 cents per day. I'lunge—Indoor swimming pool and shower baths, 50 cents. Laundry—The Glacier Park Hotel Company operates a laundry at Glacier Park Hotel. Tourists can have laundry sent or left there to be called for on leaving the Park. Valet Service—Ordinary sponging and pressing done. (No dry cleaning). Golf—A nine hole golf course is maintained by the Glacier Park Hotel Company for the enjoyment of visitors to the Park. Due to the topography and the care exercised by the experts in planning and constructing it, this course is considered as being especially "sporty." Green fees, $1.00.

The buildings are heated with fireplaces, and there are no "rooms with bath," but nearby in a separate cabin are bath rooms and lavatories. Another large log building containing rest rooms, and a supply store and refreshment stand serves as a convenient waiting room for guests who are transferring at St. Mary from car to launch or vice versa. For a period of an hour in the morning and another in the afternoon, when the busses and boats arrive and depart, St. Mary is the scene of much activity, but ordinarily it is a quiet and restful place, attractive as an economical stopping place for trail riders, fishermen, and those who come to spend several weeks, more for rest, with limited outdoor recreation, than for general sight-seeing.
