Welcome to Internacional de Calonge! The campsite is surrounded by beautiful countryside and is only minutes away from the charming resort of Playa de Aro. This modern, well-kept and lively campsite is situated on a hill and offers stunning views over the bay of Palamos.
Main reception
Campsite main reception is open every day and will provide you with general and touristic information. Do not hesitate if you need any information related to campsite services or animations, you will be able to get the weekly scheduled activities for example.
Barriers opening time: 7am to midnight. Please note it is strictly prohibited to drive on site outside of the opening times. Pools
In Internacional de Calonge, two swimming pools for adults and one for children will make the whole family happy. Activities and animations for adults and children are organized on a regular basis. There are also hammocks and sun loungers for you to relax. The pools open every day but it is of course prohibited to swim outside the opening hours.
Services
The campsite offers a multitude of other facilities and services such as: a bar, restaurant, take away, supermarket, bakery, launderette, doctor, carwash, iron rental, bike rental, fridge rental, kayak rental… Every effort has been made to ensure a perfect holiday for the whole family.
The WI-FI is not free! You will get a 30 minutes free trial. Then, here are the tariffs: 1 day: 6€; 1 week: 16€; 15 days: 25€; 1 month: 30€
Opening/Closing times: - Supermarket: Open from 1st April to 16th October 2018 – Take away: From March 7th, open on Fridays/Saturdays/Sundays; From April 12th, open every day except on Mondays & Tuesdays – Swimming pools: Open from 1st April to 12th October 2018
For your information, swimming shorts are allowed; the sunloungers and hammocks are free at the pool and inflatables are not allowed.

Animations and activities
Children will be able to join the “TENDY” mini-club and participate in activities such as workshops, treasure hunts, painting and various games. The little ones will be very excited to meet Tendy the snail, the famous campsite mascot! They will also have a lot of fun when jumping on the pool inflatable structures while the teenagers will gather together and take part in sports activities: basketball, football, volleyball, there’s something for everyone!
For those who want to keep fit during their holiday, do not hesitate in joining the Sports Club. Get ready for an active holiday and participate in activities such as aquagym, pilates, mountain bike, running, hiking or kayaking. Finally, regarding night entertainment, come and enjoy the various shows for all the family: mini disco, flamenco shows, musical, circus acts. If you are lucky, you might even meet “Michael Jackson”!
Campsite rules
When you book with Lifestyle Holidays, you agree to comply with the campsite rules which are on display at main reception or can be handed out on request. We advise you to read them carefully. We cannot be responsible if you get evicted from the resort for any breach of the rules. Please note that you might not be allowed to wear swimming shorts or shirts in the pool. It is strictly prohibited to enter the swimming pools outside the opening hours. Please respect your neighbours, any abusive and repetitive disturbance noises could lead to sanctions.

GETTING AROUND
On foot
If you decide to walk, the closest beach is only 5 minutes away from site. However, you will need about 20-25 minutes to walk to Playa de Aro town centre.
The little train
When staying on Internacional de Calonge, a little train departs from site and takes you for free to the beach. Guaranteed fun for the kids!
Cycling
If you don’t have the possibility to bring your bikes, you should know that you can rent some on site. Bikes, mountain bikes, kid bikes, the whole family will be able to enjoy fantastic bike rides along the Costa Brava.
Bus service SARFA
You would like to visit Barcelona and do not have a vehicle or if you do, you would like to avoid traffic or having to find a parking space? Think about the bus company SARFA. The bus stops in various Catalan towns that are worth a visit such as S’agaro, Girona, Begur or Barcelona. The bus station is situated in the town centre of Playa de Aro, Plaça Els Estanys.

Entertainment and Events
CAP ROIG FESTIVAL: It is a music festival that takes place every year in July and August, featuring famous global artists such as Rod Stewart, Elton John, Sting, Lady Gaga, James Morrison, The Corrs… The concerts take place in the splendid gardens of Cap Roig, in Calella de Palafrugell. WHITE SUMMER : The White Summer festival occurs in Pals (about 25mins from the campsite) and usually takes place during the three first weeks of August, from 6pm to 1am every day. It is an innovative market mixing shopping, gastronomy and art in a unique natural environment. The atmosphere is relaxed, bohemian and magical. PLACES TO VISIT AROUND CALONGE AND PLAYA DE ARO
CADAQUÉS – Famous « fishing village » with a quaint charm, you will find a great number of art galleries. You can also visit the house of the famous painter Salvador Dali, which has been converted into a museum. It will take approximately 1h40 to drive there.
EMPURIABRAVA – Known as the biggest marina of Europe with more than 30km of canals, it is called the « Spanish Venice ». If the thrills and spills are for you, there is the Skydive Empuriabrava centre which has a worldwide reputation. It will take approximately 1h15 to drive there.
FIGUERES – This city hosts the famous Dali Museum as well as the Castell San Ferran, one of the biggest fortresses in Europe. Figueres is situated about 1h drive from the campsite.
LE PERTHUS AND LA JONQUERA – Respectively last town of France before the border and first town of Spain after the border, this two towns are mainly known for their competitive prices on many products such as perfumes, cosmetics, delicatessen, alcohol, tobacco. Make sure you are well-informed about the regulation of your allowances at cross border shopping. It will take approximately 1h20 to drive there.
CALELLA DE PALAFRUGELL - This old fishing village with its parapet walk is a must see if you like to stroll and discover hidden coves. It will take approximately 20mins to drive there.

LLORET DE MAR - Only 35 minutes away from the campsite, Lloret de Mar is one of the most popular holiday destination in the region. It is the place to go for fun, parties and casino nights. Despite its festive reputation, the town also has a lot to offer in terms of history and culture.
BARCELONE - It is a must see of your holidays! You will enjoy everything about this city: its architecture, its numerous shops, its cathedral and its football stadium. The Catalan capital is located only an hour and a half away from the campsite.
