This thesis explores the norms, practices, and experiences that conditioned urban belonging in Late Medieval Barcelona. A combination of institutional, legal, intellectual and cultural analysis, the dissertation investigates how citizenship evolved and functioned on the Barcelonese stage. To this end, the thesis is structured into two parts. Part 1 includes four chapters, within which I establish the legal and institutional background of the Barcelonese citizen. Citizenship as a fiscal and individual privilege is contextualised within the negotiations that shaped the limits and prerogatives of monarchical and municipal power from the thirteenth to the late fourteenth centuries.

    De Via Augusta a “xarrabasco”. El camí vell de Girona a Caldes de Malavella ELVIS MAllORQUÍ Doctor en Història Resum: Arran de l’estudi sobre el traçat del camí ral a la plana de la Selva, sembla clar que aquesta ruta no coincideix, en aquest tram, amb l’antiga Via Augusta. Diverses evidències –arqueològiques, documentals i geogràfiques– coincideixen a assenyalar que el vell camí de Girona a Caldes de Malavella resseguia el traçat de la via romana. Actualment, el traçat es manté encara en els termes municipals de Girona, Fornells de la Selva i Caldes de Malavella. A Riudellots de la Selva, però, està molt fragmen- tat i només en resten petits trams enfonsats que la gent del poble coneix com a xarrabascos. Paraules clau: Via Augusta, xarrabasco, geografia, via romana, camí vell. Abstract: Thanks to the research about the route of the highroad in the Selva plain, it seems clear that it does not go over the ancient Via Augusta. Several evidences –archae- ological, geographical and documentary– denote that the old way from Girona to Caldes de Malavella follows the route of the Roman road. Currently, the layout still stays visible in the boundaries of Girona, Fornells de la Selva and Caldes de Malavella. However, in Riudellots de la Selva the path is highly fragmented and only small sections remain sunk, so that neighbours known them as xarrabascos. El proyecto a que se refiere la presente Resolución se encuentra comprendido en el apartado g del grupo 3 del anexo I del texto refundido de la Ley de Evaluación de Impacto Ambiental de proyectos, aprobado por Real Decreto Legislativo 1/2008, de 11 de enero (Ley de Evaluación de Impacto Ambiental), por lo que, habiéndose sometido a evaluación de impacto ambiental, con carácter previo a su autorización administrativa, de conformidad con lo establecido en su artículo 3.1, procede formular su declaración de impacto ambiental, de acuerdo con el artículo 12.1 de la citada Ley. Según la Orden AAA/838/2012, de 20 de abril, sobre delegación de competencias del Ministerio de Agricultura, Alimentación y Medio Ambiente, corresponde a la Secretaría de Estado de Medio Ambiente formular, por delegación del Ministro, las resoluciones de evaluación ambiental de competencia estatal reguladas en el texto refundido de la Ley de Evaluación de Impacto Ambiental.
