Pine Hills Lightning Baseball Club congratulate the following record number of 11 Juniors who are competing in several 2015 National Baseball Titles in January 2015 Also in January 2015 there are an additional 5 Pine Hills Lightning Juniors from competing in the new u14Dingo World Series, u14Junior League and u14 Intermediate League State titles. For any who wish to do so, you can follow these players, their teams and tournaments by clicking on any Tournament name for all draws and results. The National Baseball Titles will also have Live Scoring online. Links for the Live Scoring and Statistics will be available at the start of the Championships The 2014/15 summer season and thereafter will provide Under 14 players with exciting opportunities to develop their baseball skills alongside teammates in a new, nationally aligned player development pathway. Baseball Australia has retracted the historical Under 14 National Youth Championships and implemented the inaugural Dingo World Series, Junior League along with Little League Major which are now aligned programs to the National Pathway set by Baseball Australia. In an Australian first, the National Junior League Championships will be held from 4th-9th April, 2015, at Surfers Paradise Baseball Club on the Gold Coast, Queensland. The event is supported by City of Gold Coast and Surfers Paradise Baseball Club. This is the first time the Junior League competition will be held in Australia, following a restructure of the Championship pathway in line with Little League International. Junior League is an extension of Little League, acting as a bridge to transition from Little League to the next level. It is played on a 80 to 90 foot diamond, pitching from 54 feet, compared with a 60-foot diamond and pitching at 46 feet for Little League. (u14) Intermediate League Queensland State Titles at All Stars from 23-26 January 2015.
