Ankara Üniversitesi Hukuk Fakültesi ve DTCF Tiyatro Enstitüsü'nde öğrenim gördü (1951-1959). 1952'den bu ya­ na, Ankara ile İstanbul'da çeşitli gazete ve belli başlı ansiklopediler­ de çalıştı. Edebiyata şiirle başlayan Tokmakçıoğlu, ilk öyküsü Dol­ muş Türk Dili Dergisi Öykü Yarışması'nda derece alınca (1953) öy­ küye yöneldi. Çocuğun Biri adlı öyküsü Dünya Gazetesi Yarışması'n­ da birincilik kazandı (1954). 1951'de ilk baskısı yapılan Bütün Yönle­ riyle Nasreddin Hoca adlı yapıtı yurtiçinde ve dışında geniş yankı uyandırdı. Kültür ve Dışişleri bakanlıklarının seçkisiyle, yapıt Bulga­ ristan'da Gobrova-836. Uluslararası Biennali'nde Türkiye'yi temsil etti. Ekseriyeti uzak ülkelerle irtibatlı, gelişmiş ve detaylı güzergâhların meydana gelişi ağırlıkla bu şartlar altında mümkün olmuştur. Anahtar Kelimeler: Ortaçağ, Anadolu, Yollar, Ticaret Middle Ages Anatolia Trade Routes Abstract The development of the trade roads passing through Anatolian Peninsula continued throughout the Middle Ages. This was a result of the stability considered important by the political powers aiming to guarantee the continuity of the trade and tax revenues. They also arranged military expeditions over and over again to protect their opportunities. The occurrence of the developed and detailed routes, the majority of which were connected with distant countries, had been possible mainly under these conditions. It is represented with 34 taxa in Turkey. The name of Trigonella coelesyriaca was misspelled to Flora of Turkey and the correct name of this species, Trigonella caelesyriaca, was given in this study. The endemic Trigonella raphanina has been reduced to synonym of T. cassia and T. balansae is reduced to synonym of T. corniculata. In addition, T. spruneriana var. sibthorpii is reevaluated as a distinct species. Lectotypification was designated forT. capitata, T. spruneriana and T. velutina. Neotypification was decided for T. cylindracea and T. cretica species. Trigonella taxa used to be represented by 52 taxa in the Flora of Turkey. However, they have later been evaluated by different studies under 32 species (34 taxa) in Turkey. In this study, taxonomic notes, diagnostic keys are provided and general distribution as well as their conservation status of each species within the genus in Turkey is given. COLIN Geologischen Landesamt, Nordheim-Westfalen ÖZET. — Eser, müellifin Maden Tetkik ve Arama Enstitüsü namına 1953 ve 1954 sene- leri yaz aylarında Fethiye, Antalya, Kaş ve Finike bölgelerinde yapmış olduğu jeolojik araştırmala- ra dayanmaktadır. Gerek stratigrafik ve tektonik müşahedeler, gerekse Maden Tetkik ve Arama Enstitüsünün yapmış olduğu paleontolojik ve mineralojik tesbitler, bu bölgelerde genç Paleozoik, Mesozoik ve Senozoik yapılı sahre cinslerinin yayılmış olduğu neticesini vermektedir. Bu arada muhtelif fasies gelişmelerini tefrik etmek mümkün olmaktadır. Dik ve yatık tektonik kitleleri birbirinden ayıran büyük çapta kaymalara raslanmıştır. Muhtelif Struktur istikametlerinin göze batan girişimleri daha evvel vuku bulmuş olan tabakalaşmaya dayanmaktadır. Genç Tersiyer ve Pleistosende bölge büyük faylanmalar tesiriyle parçalanmıştır. I. ÖNSÖZ 1953 ve 1954 senesi yaz aylarında, Maden Tetkik ve Arama Enstitüsü em- riyle Fethiye, Antalya, Kaş ve Finike arasındaki bölgenin jeolojik haritasının tan- zimi işi ile görevlendirildim. Jeolojik bakımdan olduğu kadar manzara ve arkeoloji bakımından da çok ilginç olan bu bölge, E. Tietze'nin etüdlerinden (1885) bu yana ve A. Philippson'- dan (1915) beri hemen hemen hiç dikkate alınmamıştır. Son zamanların krom ve manganez zuhurları hakkındaki birkaç raporundan başka (G. Hiessleitner, 1951/52; V. Kovenko, 1937, 1943, 1945; Oelsner, 1932, 1936) ve yer gazı ile asfalt zuhur- ları hakkında verilen bir iki rapor müstesna olmak üzere (H. Kirk, 1937; M. Lucius, 1925a ve 6, 1930; J. Maxson, 1937; C.E. Taşman, 1930), sadece Elmalı ve Kaş paftalarının bazı durum löveleri mevcuttur. Bu itibarla önce, bölgenin tümü hakkındaki jeolojik durum bakımından bil- gi edinmek icabetmiştir ki, bu da sahanın genişliği ve Alpin karakterli olması karşısında, elde bulunan zaman içinde ancak geniş aralıklı bir gezi şebekesi tesisi suretiyle temin edilebilmiştir.

We believe it is both valuable and necessary that these transformation projects, which involve individuals who take part in the academic process and who are concerned with studio education, should also be dealt with in the architectural education process. Formed out of this idea, the “architectural design studio” was conceived with the aim of enabling students to “re-think” the above concepts and, by creating various projects in this context, of increasing their “internalisation” and “awareness” of the subject. In this case study, concepts such as urban transformation, urban change and urban environment, which are the “artificial” and, unfortunately, “sterile” concepts mentioned above, are discussed with the “Galata experience” on the basis of the students’ designs.     ECCLESIAE OCCIDENTALIS MONUMENTA IURIS ANTIQUISSIMA ed. C.H. Turner (Oxford, 1899-1939) Index of Names and Selected Words Corrected, revised, and extended 2008 by Philip R. Amidon, S.J. Creighton University [email protected] It has seemed opportune to republish this index in a corrected and extended version; there has been added to the list of names a list of selected words, and the method of referring to the text has been somewhat altered. The exact scope of C.H. Turner’s masterpiece is not immediately apparent from its title or subtitles (Canonum et conciliorum graecorum interpretationes latinae; Canones et concilia graeca ab antiquis interpretibus latine reddita). What one in fact finds here is an edition of the earliest surviving collections of church canons in Latin which are undoubtedly from the fourth century or have been assigned to it by at least some consensus of scholarship; some of them are translations from Greek, while others were originally drafted in Latin itself. Most of them, with the exception of the Apostolic Constitutions and Canons, are attributed to church councils. Turner, however, also offers a selection of doctrinal and historical material of enormous value, some of it indeed connected to the councils whose canons he edits; a comparison, for instance, of the creed contained in the synodical letter of the Council of Sardica with the Tomus Damasi, will suggest how far the doctrinal education of the western church advanced during the course of the fourth century. The connection of other historical matter to the canons is less obvious, however; one wonders what the Athanasian Historia acephala is doing here (granted that it is part of the collection of Theodosius the Deacon), however grateful one is to have the edition.
