(By the time this newsletter was being written in mid-July, some 250 people already had visited the Open House.) With the initial community input phase of Suwanee’s 20/20 Vision strategic planning process complete, the City of Suwanee is shifting gears, still seeking input and ideas, but in a more in-depth fashion. Small-group roundtable discussions are expected to take place throughout the fall. Suwanee area residents are encouraged to be part of these potentially com- munity-changing conversations. Sign up is available at and at City Hall. www.suwanee2020.com These facilitated conversations in groups of 10-12 people could begin as early as late August. Canadian Elizabeth Hynes died less than 24 hours after she was seen by hospital doctors who told her to go home and rest. Worried flatmates took Elizabeth. a fourth year Zoology student, to Leeds General Infirmary last Friday night after she developed flu-like symptoms with headaches and a rash. But staff at the hospital failed to diagnose meningitis and discharged heL By the following morning Elizabeth's condition had clearly woiseried and an ambulance had to be called us her flat at Leeds University's Montague Burton J block. She was once again taken to LGI. but within an hour of being adulated she was dead. Confusion Andrew Bannister of Leeds General infirmary explained the confusion: "Elizabeth came in late on Friday evening with flu-like symptoms. and was sent home by the ciao ir on duty. She was later rushed in ntid-moming the next day but unfortunately. despite immediate resuscitation attempts, staff were unable to revive her."     CHRIS MURPHY SOVEREIGN Los Angeles may be the City of Angels, but it’s the haunt of many a King and Queen of the music scene, too.
