The Yorkshire-horn Duchess has had to cut hack on her official engagements since being diagnosed as suffering from the chronic fatigue syndrome ME in 1996. A spokesman from St James's Palace explained: She thought it was time to give the University of Leeds a chance to find someone younger who could take on the duties she carried out so well for so many years."
