Sleep Wanderers - Kremlin 3 : 1 Scorers: Dream (26., 74.), Echo (50.) ***Leonid Bungaloff (45.) The table is so close that with this match seeing the 10th placed team beating the second place, they actually go past them on the table. The difference between the teams in this game stemmed from the home advantage, and the scoreline was somewhat overstated.
Twin Peaks Owls - Alphabet FC 2 : 0 Scorers: Laura Palmer (51.), Madeleine Ferguson (44.) ***--- Penalties: - (1 missed) ***- Sent off: Log Lady (14.) ***--- Booked: Killer Bob, Steve Fox ***Annie Blackburn The Bookhouse Boys remain lucky - despite being outplayed on their own ground, they actually managed to get through to a win with only ten players on the field. How long can this burst of karma last?
Car Park Rangers - Gangsters United 0 : 7 Scorers: --- ***Svarte Petter (31., 38.), Ss (71., 79.), Vito Spetafore (45.), Tony Soprano (4.), Scarface (40.) Booked: --- ***Clemenza An easy one for the Mobsters, but not quite as easy as the scoreline indicated. However, the jump up the table was quite deserved.
Mishima Zaibatsu - G.I.D. 3 : 0 Scorers: Prototype Jack (63.), Nina Williams (7.), Hwoarang (82.) ***--- One point to Trion from the home team, but that was a lucky sacrifice; even a two goal win would have flattered them.
FC Mokum - Extreme 4 : 0 Scorers: Eto'o (18., 84.), Cseh (49.), Jenner (7.) ***--- Penalties: - ***- (1 missed) Booked: Hleb, Jonny Groth ***Drogba Despite being visited by a team ahead of them, FC Mokum remain strong at home and won this one rather easily. A promising start to the season, but they might have to win away now and then too...
FC Asskickers - Blue Revolution 1 : 4 Scorers: Dusty Rhodes (13.) ***Kyun (42., 85.), Kluivert (72.), Kurohone (30.) The teams were almost exactly evenly matched in this game, but Blue Revolution were heaps more efficient in the box, and thus got away with a lucky win.

Kremlin - FC Asskickers 0 : 1 Scorers: --- ***Ric Flair (68.) Booked: --- ***HC Loc, Justin Credible, Lex Luger This time, FC Asskickers were a fair bit stronger than their opponents, and converted that successfully into a one goal win. The game was a lot more entertaining than the scoreline indicates, though.
Blue Revolution - FC Mokum 2 : 0 Scorers: Kyun (23.), Kurohone (76.) ***--- Booked: --- ***Robben, Terje Langli FC Mokum are still struggling away, and may have to look into the hygiene of the team bus. Maybe there's a computer virus infecting the players on the trip?
Extreme - Mishima Zaibatsu 0 : 7 Scorers: --- ***Nina Williams (21., 23., 48.), Hwoarang (35., 52., 72.), Devil Jin (27.) Ouch! Another team scores seven goals in the Premiership this weekend. A bit surprising, considering how close the table was before this weekend, but it looks to be spreading out now...
G.I.D. - Car Park Rangers 1 : 0 Scorers: Right Brain Half (36.) ***--- Booked: --- ***Bruce Wayne The Powers are consolidating themselves as dead last on the table, and could easily have conceded more goals in this one. Lexington next season?
Gangsters United - Twin Peaks Owls 1 : 0 Scorers: Ss (63.) ***--- There was only one team on the field in this game, but the Mobsters only scored on one of their chances. That's enough for both points, though.
Alphabet FC - Sleep Wanderers 1 : 2 Scorers: --- ***Dream (20.), Kazuki (47.) Penalties: 1 ***- Booked: Xx ***Dream The Letters would do well to read a book on improving their Rosedale karma; they had most of the play in this game, but couldn't score at all from normal play. The Night Terrors, however, were efficient, and thus won out.

Studs First FC - First Men of Rome 7 : 3 Scorers: Wayne Rooney (17., 88.), Chris Kiwomya (6., 38.), Arjen Robben (41.), David Batty (35.), Steven Gerrard (11.) ***Wotagoalus (61.), Vincenzo Montella (42.), Roberto Pruzzo (29.) Booked: --- ***Daniele de Rossi Studs First FC keep up their fantastic league form with an overstated scoreline win against closest chaser Toga Boys.
Greensleeves United - The Ages 2 : 0 Scorers: Robert Aldous (24., 71.) ***--- Greensleeves take their first league points of the season, winning deservedly at home against the Ages. This also lets the home team climb past their opponents, but both are still well below the relegation line.
Erkrath Gladiators - Tamriel Athletic 5 : 3 Scorers: Ragnar Huehnerbein (7., 69.), Guenay Attes (74.), Jochen Sproetel (32.), Felix Grabowski (38.) ***Palonirya (47.), Jeanne Frasoric (11.), Mzunchend (73.) Penalties: - ***- (1 missed) Despite being unbeaten away, the Lunatics have struggled at home. In this match, however, they dominated, and were unlucky not to win by bigger numbers.
Slartibartfast FC - Feyenoord 0 : 1 Scorers: --- ***Lucius (2.) Booked: Max Quordlepleen ***--- Lucius scored an early goal, and little happened after that. Feyenoord were more than happy to ride that lead in to two deserved points.
Desassossego Blues - Fjortoft's Friends 4 : 8 Scorers: Fernando Pessoa (20.), Chevalier de Pas (34.), Pero Botelho (15.), Pantaleao (88.) ***Sobo (21., 33., 38., 78., 80.), J.A.F. (17., 49.), Westhi (57.) Booked: --- ***Guenti, Jan Sen Fjortoft's Friends play a very impressive game at Athena Stadion, with all of 8 goals! The home team couldn't quite keep up with that, even if they too were productive.
AZ - Thinkers FC 0 : 1 Scorers: --- ***Baruch Spinoza (29.) Despite AZ being better, perhaps thinking really helps sometimes; at least, the Thinkers stole both points.
Lexington League Match day 6 ======
First Men of Rome - AZ 5 : 3 Scorers: Roberto Pruzzo (18., 29., 54.), Wotagoalus (5.), Daniele de Rossi (27.) ***van Hooydonk (66.), Schaars (76.) Penalties: - ***1 Toga Boys avenge their loss in the previous game with a complete devastation of AZ. Even their sloppy defense couldn't prevent the win this time...
Thinkers FC - Desassossego Blues 2 : 1 Scorers: GWF Hegel (75.), Immanuel Kant (67.) ***Chevalier de Pas (3.) Penalties: - (1 missed) ***- This wasn't the Blues' week. The Thinkers had an easy time, and after the first hour of play this smelled like a real robbery.
Fjortoft's Friends - Slartibartfast FC 3 : 0 Scorers: Suppa Schui (9., 77.), J.A.F. (26.) ***--- Booked: Sobo ***--- With another solid win, Fjortoft's Friends present themselves as prime promotion candidates. Slartibartfast FC didn't get a single shot on goal!
Feyenoord - Erkrath Gladiators 3 : 3 Scorers: Charisteas (67.), Nistelrooij (56.), Kiprich (79.) ***Carsten Bernsee (89.), Jochen Sproetel (34.), Guenay Attes (4.) Booked: --- ***Holger Frey Erkrath Gladiators started best in this one, being up by two at half time. That was strongly against the run of play, though, and the second half depicts the match a lot better. However, that was only enough to get one of their two deserved points.
Tamriel Athletic - Greensleeves United 7 : 1 Scorers: Palonirya (58., 79., 87.), Urjabhi (4., 33.), Jeanne Frasoric (81.), Vlenarus Kvinchal (56.) ***Robert Aldous (32.) Booked: --- ***Henry Hallon, Jimmy Clayton Tamriel went at it savagely, clearly intent on showing themselves of a different quality than Greensleeves. Looking at the match, one'd say they succeeded too.
The Ages - Studs First FC 1 : 6 Scorers: Cambrian (66.) ***Wayne Rooney (10., 13.), Jehane bet Ishak (22., 54.), Steven Gerrard (48.), Chris Kiwomya (72.) Penalties: - (1 missed) ***- Booked: --- ***Arjen Robben These teams look likely to fight at opposite ends of the table this season, and the result reinforced that idea. A well deserved away win. Springfield United - Saturday Morning FC 3 : 0 Scorers: Ned Flanders (1., 52.) ***--- Penalties: 1 (1 missed) ***- Booked: --- ***Bravestarr The 2Ds don't appear to have much depth in their play this season, whereas there's no reason at all for Springfield United to say "D'oh!". A clear and deserved win.
Brazil Star Conquerors - Sjokoladen BK 1 : 2 Scorers: Emerson (1.) ***Melke Sjokolade (88.) Penalties: - ***1 Booked: Robinho ***Radu, Twist The Brazilians were a little better than Nam Nam at home, but they apparently became too confident with their early lead, and Sjokoladen turned it all around in a few hectic end game minutes.
Ladida FC - Coventry 4 : 3 Scorers: Dixie (14., 88.), Petra (36.) ***William Hall (58.), Thomas Hall (18.), Richard Rockingham (22.) Penalties: 1 ***- Booked: Blossoms ***--- Despite it being top at home against bottom, this match was actually pretty close. However, the slightly better team came out on top in the end.
Call of Cthulhu - Dummys 4 : 6 Scorers: The Quest of Iranon (5., 28.), The Resurrected (57.), The Outsider (85.) ***Gordon (2., 8., 72.), U2 (55., 90.), Trijntje (40.) Dummys had an unexpectedly slow start to the season, but showed class here with a fine away win at Arkham Asylum. The table climbing has started...
PSV - Harestua IL 2 : 1 Scorers: Kromkamp (89.), Mendez (76.) ***Arne Valland (49.) Booked: --- ***Arne Valland Harestua were badly weakened by suspensions, and that was what gave PSV their chance to win this game. They took that chance, though, claiming two important points.
Sheffield Thursday - FC United 2 : 2 Scorers: Matt Wise (88.) ***Ritchie Jones (64.), Paul Scholes (29.) Penalties: 1 ***- Booked: Claudio Vargas ***Ritchie Jones FC United were somewhat stronger at Hillsborough Stadium, but with an unfriendly referee, they had to make do with one point.
Berkeley Conference Match day 6 ======
Saturday Morning FC - Sheffield Thursday 1 : 0 Scorers: Splinter (60.) ***--- Sent off: Bravestarr (56.) ***--- Booked: --- ***Craig Counsell, Tony Graffanino Both teams put some importance in this game, and ACME Park was full of people from Turner Primary School, cheering their heroes onwards to their second win of the season, despite being down to ten men on 0-0.
FC United - PSV 1 : 0 Scorers: Paul Scholes (75.) ***--- Booked: --- ***Colina, Davids, Salcido FC United are cruising ahead with their sixth straight win of the season, but they were wasting chances for over an hour before they managed to put a goal in the net...
Harestua IL - Call of Cthulhu 3 : 2 Scorers: Eivind Juul Pedersen (25., 69.), Arne Bjarne (39.) ***Dreams in the Witch-house (45.), Bokrug (67.) Sent off: --- ***The Haunted Palace (71.) Booked: Sjur Ohren ***The Outsider The heom team had most of the play at Harestua Stadion, but they followed each other closely. Bokrug equalised to 2-2 after 67 minutes, but Harestua reclaimed the lead shortly after, and with a red card following that, the Lurking Fear didn't have anything to answer with in the last twenty minutes.
Dummys - Ladida FC 15 : 11 Scorers: U2 (7 goal$s), Trijntje (4., 11., 47.), Gordon (27., 67.), Kane (5., 37.), Lee Towers (78.) ***Dixie (37., 64., 86., 88.), Petra (56., 69., 80.), Pixie (7., 14., 31.), Donna Hayward (51.) Booked: Offspring ***--- The most goal-rich game of Berkeley so far! Both teams let caution to the wind, and scored a true abundance of goals. Dummys were clearly stronger, though, and won deservedly.
Coventry - Brazil Star Conquerors 3 : 2 Scorers: William Hall (73.), Thomas Hall (7.), Hamilton Blushham (78.) *** Adriano (65.), Robinho (22.) Booked: --- ***Robinho Coventry are still unbeaten at Highfield Road, after a convincing performance against their visiting Brazilians. They were better and fought harder, and it was no surprise that the combination gave two points.
Sjokoladen BK - Springfield United 2 : 1 Scorers: Graeme Le Saux (43.) ***Duff-Beer (2.) Penalties: 1 ***- Booked: --- ***Monty Burns, Ned Flanders After being unlucky in earlier seasons, Nam Nam are apparently getting some repayment now. Their visitors were far stronger, but with staunch defending, Sjokoladen BK got away with both points!

Dispelliarmus FC - the Professors of Jazz 6 : 0 Scorers: Basil Bubblelare (8., 42.), Phineas Wandernit (68., 82.), Albert Blackwater (44.), Jack Mepperdock (6.) ***--- Booked: --- ***Miles Davis The Blue Notes are struggling with the form these days, and were completely chanceless at Toadwarts School of Sorcery. Manager Mohoni is probably searching for points with lanterns and flashlights right now...
Frackers FC - The Potato People 5 : 3 Scorers: Hotdog (9., 55., 77.), Tyrol (28., 46.) ***Mrs. Potato (83.), Earl Potato (18.) Penalties: - ***1 Frackers FC defend their spot in the promotion zone well against the Fries, who are rock solid at home and have never gotten a point away. Maybe they need to bring a bit of their own soil for good luck.
Aa Fotballklubb - Team Tobbi 15 : 0 Scorers: Steven Gerrard (4., 22., 46., 58., 84.), Javier Mascherano (9., 47., 61.), Momo Sissoko (15., 31.), Xabi Alonso (69., 89.), Craig Bellamy (24., 78.), Peter Crouch (40.) ***--- Booked: Luis Garcia ***--- Team Tobbi are setting a record of being crushed these days! Aa Fotballklubb had a way better strategy, and even fought a little for it. 15 goals was well deserved.
Al Rassan United - Dead Dino Storage 1 : 3 Scorers: Velaz (53.) ***Pagan's Mind (72.), GTR (21.) Penalties: - ***1 Booked: Mazur ben Avren, Tarif ibn Hassan ***Enchant, Tad Morose Another win for table toppers DDS, this time away against the team right behind them. They were the strongest in this matchup, too - this is looking exceptionally well for them.
St. Helens - Gamblers United 0 : 1 Scorers: --- ***Francesca Freezer (59.) Booked: Nathan Knight, Tom Reid ***--- Ouch! St. Helens dominated this game with a solid performance, but they just couldn't score! The crossbar and the goal posts looked like they came straight out of a war zone, but the Gamblers scored on their only counter attack, taking both points.
NotReallyNewBremenCyberdruids - Interchangeable Parts 6 : 0 Scorers: Royal Ghoul VIII (25., 34.), Samuel in the Sewers (11., 32.), Storyteller's Friend (18.), Samuel in the Box (80.) ***--- Booked: --- ***D4 Three points for Trion from the away team, but it probably didn't matter much... six goals is quite a big win. Not too unexpected either; despite a terrible weekend last week, NRNBC clearly have a lot of potential.
Kirkwood Showdown Match day 6 ======the Professors of Jazz - NotReallyNewBremenCyberdruids 2 : 2 Scorers: Dizzy Gillespie (49.), Count Basie (45.) ***Samuel in the Sewers (9., 37.) Penalties: - ***- (1 missed) In a stroke of great luck, the Blue Notes managed to steal a point at home against the Cyberdruids. How this could happen will not be understood by anyone who saw the game on the field. Interchangeable Parts - St. Helens 8 : 0 Scorers: D1 (23., 38., 62., 71.), F6 (25., 58., 86.) ***--- Penalties: 1 ***- Booked: M1 ***Harry Space The Parts took no chances in this game, fighting for every ball despite rolling over St. Helens rather efficiently. Great form!
Gamblers United - Al Rassan United 3 : 2 Scorers: Francesca Freezer (7., 54.), Molly Mover (82.) ***Ishak bet Yonnannon (63.), Yoshimitsu (1.) Penalties: - (2 missed) ***- Gamblers United showed that they knew when to hold'em, and knew when to fold'em. The question is, will they walk away or run after this lucky home win?
Dead Dino Storage - Aa Fotballklubb 5 : 0 Scorers: Green Carnation (4., 44., 82.), Nemo (82.), Liquid Scarlet (55.) *** --- Penalties: - (1 missed) ***- Booked: --- ***Javier Mascherano DDS dominated this game completely; Aa Fotballklubb didn't even manage to get a shot on goal. In fact, the scoreline flattered the visitors!

This must be a new record for the season! Frackers FC overrun Team Tobbi utterly and confused - and the home team quickly decided it was more important to get a few consolidation goals than stop the avalanche of goals against.
The Potato People - Dispelliarmus FC 8 : 3 Scorers: Earl Potato (7., 17., 54., 76.), Mrs. Potato (28., 89.) ***Jack Mepperdock (16., 47.), Clara Finningwater (9.) Penalties: 2 ***- Sent off: --- ***Basil Bubblelare (47.) Booked: --- ***Clara Finningwater The home team showed themselves way stronger in this game - a battle of former giants with both managers having placed well in the Premiership previously. Especially after Basil Bubblelare was sent off, the Fries had an easy time - and they now have three out of three possible home wins.

The Premiership has split up a little with four teams standing out as front runners. They are: Mishima Zaibatsu, Gangsters United, Blue Revolution and Sleep Wanderers. However, one good weekend on the part of another team, and it could be right up there. Car Park Rangers are falling behind with only one point, three up to second last which is Alphabet FC. Kremlin, Twin Peaks Owls and Extreme all have five points. The luckiest so far are Sleep Wanderers, while the unluckiest are Alphabet FC.
Studs First FC remain on top of Lexington League with 12 points. Fjortoft's Friends follow with 9, whereas Feyenoord, Erkrath Gladiators and First Men of Rome all have 8. The Ages fell to last place after losing to Greensleeves United, but it's not too far up to AZ, Desassossego Blues and Slartibartfast FC for these two teams. Erkrath Gladiators remain luckiest, while AZ are now unluckiest.
Berkeley Conference feature the same leading duo; FC United with 11 points and Ladida FC with 8. However, Sjokoladen BK have now caught up with Ladida, being third only by weaker goal difference. The relegation zone is filled up with teams with 4 points each: Call of Cthulhu, Brazil Star Conquerors and Saturday Morning FC. There's only one point up to the top half of the table! Sjokoladen BK have been very fortunate so far, while Springfield United's karma issues remain.
Dead Dino Storage and Frackers FC are getting a lead in Kirkwood Showdown, with 11 and 10 points, respectively. NotReallyNewBremenCyberdruids and Interchangeable Parts follow closest with 8 points. Team Tobbi remain without points, having almost accumulated a hundred goals against in six games. Professors of Jazz doubled the distance down to them after the surprising draw against NRNBC. Gamblers United have been most lucky, while St. Helens haven't had the margins on their side.
Sjokoladen BK are now luckiest, followed by Erkrath Gladiators and Gamblers United. The worst luck is that of Alphabet FC, followed by Kremlin and Springfield United.
