Booked: --- ***John Dee Despite the referee working rather hard to help out the home team, the Night Terrors were still strong enough to come out victorious. Not even a red card four minutes before the end could change that.
The 5 Percent Community - Gangsters United 1 : 0 Scorers: Terje Langli (7.) ***--- Penalties: - (1 missed) ***- Booked: --- ***Clemenza, Luca Brasi Tonight was rather uneventful at Straume Bedehus, but as always, the faith was strong in the home side's supporter club, and they fanatically carried the Greedy Retards to two points.
Kremlin - Les Gaulois 8 : 1 Scorers: Gerd-Liv Valla (45., 60., 72., 89.), Leonid Bungaloff (2., 21., 68.), Mikail Strychnin (11.) ***Cesar Labeldecadix (10.) Booked: Gerd-Liv Valla, Ted Pollon ***--- The home team was weakened by suspensions, but that didn't seem to phase them much - Les Gaulois' strategy seemed to include rolling over and watch the ball fly into their own net.
Car Park Rangers - First Men of Rome 2 : 0 Scorers: Stephanie Brown (68.) ***--- Penalties: 1 ***- Booked: --- ***Devius Surreptitus, Kickinthenetus, Tortuous Convolvulus Not very much play in this game at Wherever Evil-Doers roam, but just enough for the home team to edge deservedly ahead.
Twin Peaks Owls - Erkrath Gladiators 0 : 0 Penalties: - (1 missed) ***- Sent off: Steve Fox (37.) ***--- Booked: Laura Palmer ***Michel Prinz The home team dominated the game for the first 37 minutes, but then Steve Fox was sent off. After that, nothing happened, and the game ebbed out into a goalless draw.
Mishima Zaibatsu - G.I.D. 0 : 0 KB: In a rather boring game, the home team created most of the chances, but was unable to get any balls past Soma. Judging by this performance, Rosedale Open is far from being the same without Lower Tadfield Apocalypse and Camarilla Divided. Comebacks next season?

Penalties: - (1 missed) ***- Booked: --- ***Hwoarang It was a rather even game at the Stadium of Night, but both forms of Jin were in shape for this matchup, and despite Hwoarang got booked for bad language, the away team got a somewhat lucky win. G.I.D. - Twin Peaks Owls 0 : 0 Even, and infernally boring. A goalless draw was the only meaningful result.
Erkrath Gladiators - Car Park Rangers 2 : 0 Scorers: Carsten Bernsee (30.), Giovanni Carlini (59.) ***--- Sent off: --- ***Stephanie Brown (72.) Booked: Carsten Bernsee ***--- The Lunatics were quite a bit stronger in this matchup, but were rather lucky not to receive any goals at all. However, two deserved points.
First Men of Rome - Kremlin 9 : 4 Scorers: Tortuous Convolvulus (6 goal$s), Squareonthehypothenus (47., 82., 87.) ***Mikail S. Gorbachev (1., 8.), Leonid Bungaloff (27.), Gerd-Liv Valla (32.) Booked: Whoetallthepiesus ***Boris Karrienko, Natasha Nogoodnik After a whole lot of boring matches, the spectators of this one got to see a real show! Both teams let caution to the wind, and an avalanche of goals resulted. The home team were slightly more cautious, though, and could thus cash in a rather comfortable win.
Les Gaulois - The 5 Percent Community 1 : 2 Scorers: Amerix (35.) ***Derek Broughton (65.), Yngvar Haakonsen (5.) An almost exactly mathematically even match, but the Greedy Retards took the lead twice, and Les Gaulois could only equalise once. Straight to the top for the 5 Percent Community!
Gangsters United - FC Mokum 3 : 2 Scorers: Vito Corleone (42., 46.), Tony Soprano (17.) ***--- Penalties: - ***2 Booked: Scarface ***Ronaldo FC Mokum had cooked some nice poffertjes for the referee before the game, for which they were rewarded a penalty in each half. However, that wasn't enough against determined Mobsters, who managed to score three goals from normal play.
Lexington League Match day 1 ======
Tamriel Athletic - Sheffield Thursday 9 : 3 Scorers: Vlenarus Kvinchal (6., 34., 40.), Bumph gra-Gash (10., 53.), Thamriel (49., 81.), Palonirya (33.), Jeanne Frasoric (11.) ***Prince Fielder (74., 80.), Brady Clark (14.) KB: Tamriel Athletic continue their winning streak from last season in a convincing manner. The match was more even than the scoreline indicates though, so Lexington might be a greater challenge than Kirkwood, after all.
FC Asskickers - Blue Revolution 0 : 1 Scorers: --- ***Radu (9.) Not particularly exciting, but the team who was a little stronger won out through an early goal.
Alphabet FC - Brazil Star Conquerors 5 : 0 Scorers: Rr (30., 40.), Nn (27.), Oo (9.), Pp (69.) ***--- Booked: Pp, Uu ***--- The Letters continue off where they've been throughout their career; winning. Brazil didn't get many points last season, and are currently struggling for their rebuild.
Greensleeves United - The Ages 2 : 1 Scorers: David Farrell (40., 49.) ***Golden Age (86.) Greensleeves had this game sown up all the way, but the Ages added some extra nerve to the last few minutes by catching up to 1-2.
Feyenoord - PSV 5 : 1 Scorers: Charisteas (65., 77., 87.), Zuiverloon (63.) ***Cocu (66.) Penalties: 1 ***- Sent off: --- ***Ball (14.), Salcido (34.) Booked: Charisteas, Ono, Paauwe, Zuiverloon ***--- KB: When Jaap Smolders was unable to instruct his players, the result was an anarchy on the field. First half was a strange mixture of rugby, wrestling and diving, loosely inspired by World Cup 2006's Round of 16 match between Holland and Portugal. In the second half, the teams decided they wanted to play some football too, and with two players more, Feyenoord had an easy time rolling over their rivals.
Extreme - Fjortoft's Friends 1 : 1 Scorers: --- ***Jan Sen (55.) Penalties: 1 (1 missed) ***- Booked: --- ***Jan Aage Fjortoft's Friends attempted to field Guenti out of position, but he would have none of it, and ran off the pitch. With a new player on the field for the away team, the game was very even, and the draw was very much deserved for both of them. Lexington League Match day 2 ======
Sheffield Thursday - Extreme 0 : 1 Penalties: - ***1 (1 missed) Booked: Tony Graffanino ***--- KB: Despite the home team trying, Extreme were too strong to overcome. With zero points after two games, the Owls have had a tough start of the season.
Fjortoft's Friends - Feyenoord 1 : 1 Scorers: 29 Mai 1999 (28.) ***Zuiverloon (46.) Sent off: Urs (41.) ***--- Booked: Jan Aage ***--- The replacement for the confused Guenti got himself sent off, but the home team was still quite a bit stronger. However, with only 10 players, they had to see their lead become equalised, and never took it again.
PSV - Greensleeves United 1 : 0 Scorers: Aisatti (6.) ***--- Booked: --- ***Henry Hallon KB: After an early goal by Aisatti, Cool and the Gang decided to cool it down, and secure the win. The motto "It's better to do just enough than doing your best" surely applied here.
The Ages - Alphabet FC 0 : 2 Scorers: --- ***Qq (38.), Rr (17.) Booked: --- ***Nn, Rr KB: Being forward in the alphabet did not help the Ages in this match. The away team were stronger and won deservedly.
Brazil Star Conquerors - FC Asskickers 2 : 2 Scorers: Ronaldinho (8.) ***Jun Kazama (63.), Bret Hart (50.) Penalties: 1 ***- Booked: Adriano, Emerson ***--- Very even, but the Brazilians took a two goal lead early, and the Rio Hot Chicks were very disappointed when they only got the one point they deserved.
Blue Revolution - Tamriel Athletic 8 : 1 Scorers: Kotaro (5., 59., 81.), Radu (8., 14., 26.), Keitaro (32., 39.) *** Palonirya (2.) Penalties: - (1 missed) ***- Blue Revolution appears to be in form, after a very solid game against Tamriel Athletics.
Berkeley Conference Match day 1 ======
Slartibartfast FC - Studs First FC 0 : 2 Scorers: --- ***Vinnie Jones (27., 59.) Vinnie Jones decided this game on his own with a goal in each half. Little else happened.
Harestua IL - AZ 0 : 3 Scorers: --- ***Jaliens (67.) Penalties: - ***2 Booked: Arne Valland, Robert Gundersen, Stig Breiby ***Schaars, da Silva KB: Harestua were by far the strongest team, but a terrible inefficiency leaves us a ridicilous scoreline. Can we conclude that Harestua has paid their first installment on the karma they lent last season?
Lillestrom SK - Thinkers FC 1 : 4 Scorers: Michael Mifsud (57.) ***Occam (46.) Penalties: - ***3 (2 missed) Sent off: Jan Aage Fjortoft (81.) ***--- Booked: Khaled Mouelhi ***--- KB: Lillestrom really dominated this match, and offered the crowd lots of clever moves. Occam, with his razor blade, had a much simpler approach to the game, and thought if he just could make a shot at goal, the ball would have a good chance to get into the net. It proved to be a powerful philosophy. Inspired by the abundance of penalties to the other side, Jan Åge Fjørtoft tried to get some too. The referee didn't get fooled, however, and awarded him with the red card after two poorly performed dives in the penalty area. Apparently diving skills, like other skills, decreases with age.
Coventry - Saturday Morning FC 0 : 0 Penalties: - (1 missed) ***- Booked: --- ***Dr Elephant, Garfield, Penelope Pitstop This was actually a rather eventful match, where the Sky Blues was originally quite a bit stronger, but the away team fought themselves to a fairly deserved draw against a spiritless Coventry.
NotReallyNewBremenCyberdruids - Desassossego Blues 3 : 0 Scorers: Royal Ghoul V (48.), Obsolete NPC (7.), Michaela Di Vani (21.) ***--- Booked: --- ***Thomas Crosse The Cyberdruids have turned things around after a long slump, and continue off where they left off last season. The Blues dropped two levels before this season, will they be able to start winning games again soon?
Dispelliarmus FC - Call of Cthulhu 4 : 0 Scorers: Graham Puddlesune (30.), Clara Finningwater (83.), Oliver Susslechane (31.), Jack Mepperdock (58.) ***--- Booked: --- ***The Shunned House The home team had a much more experienced lineup, and won rather easily because of that.
Berkeley Conference Match day 2 ======
Studs First FC - Dispelliarmus FC 5 : 1 Scorers: Vinnie Jones (1., 29., 40.), Steven Gerrard (55., 88.) ***Clara Finningwater (38.) Despite still fielding a rather experienced lineup, the home advantage was too much to cope with for the Wiz Kids.
Call of Cthulhu - NotReallyNewBremenCyberdruids 0 : 1 Scorers: --- ***Michaela Di Vani (57.) It took a while before any goals were scored, but Michaela Di Vani finally took responsibility and brought out the spirit whip in the second half.
Desassossego Blues - Coventry 2 : 1 Scorers: Alberto Caeiro (55.), Thomas Crosse (84.) ***Marco Materazzi (27.) Booked: Alberto Caeiro ***--- Yes, the Blues could win again! At home at Athena Stadium, they were the strongest team, and managed to turn 0-1 to 2-1!
Saturday Morning FC - Lillestrom SK 7 : 4 Scorers: Penelope Pitstop (16., 64.), Snagglepuss (41., 90.), Elmer Fudd (79.), Smurfette (73.), Ulysses 31 (20.) ***Martin Husar (5., 86.), Khaled Mouelhi (38.), Michael Mifsud (63.) Booked: Penelope Pitstop ***Khaled Mouelhi, Paal Steffen Andresen, Shane Stefanutto KB: Fugla were really trying, but their dirty tricks and harsh tackles were not sufficient to compensate for their weakness. In the end, the 2D's won comfortably.
Thinkers FC - Harestua IL 1 : 1 Scorers: Jean-Paul Sartre (60.) ***Erik Pettersvold (50.) Booked: --- ***Eivind Juul Pedersen, Erik Nordgaard, Lars Pettersvold KB: Mind against brute force at Double Dome - and the result did not make us any wiser. HIL's fighting spirit proved to be of vital importance to bring home one point.
AZ - Slartibartfast FC 0 : 0 KB: AZ were significantly stronger, but were unable to convert their chances. Perhaps they've spent all their karma on their first match?
Kirkwood Showdown Match day 1 ======
March of the Black Queen - the Professors of Jazz 5 : 3 Scorers: Alberto Aquilani (32., 43., 66.), Giuseppe Meazza (25.), Tomasso Rocchi (52.) ***Thelonious Monk (31., 79.), Fats Waller (14.) Three points for Trion from the home team, but they still managed to claim a play advantage, and won out deservedly in the end.
Dead Dino Storage - Frackers FC 2 : 1 Scorers: Vision Divine (68.), Liquid Scarlet (23.) ***Dualla (74.) DDS have existed for a good while, and didn't have much of a problem beating newcomers Frackers FC. In fact, they were rather unlucky to only score two.
FC United - Sjokoladen BK 3 : 0 Scorers: Ritchie Jones (19.), Giuseppe Rossi (58.), Adie Orr (28.) ***--- One of the rare matches where the result exactly matched the average result from play and chances. Nam Nam didn't get a single shot on goal.
Springfield United - Sofia Inseminaters 4 : 2 Scorers: Lisa Simpson (37., 88.), Bart Simpson (26.) ***Brett O'Riorden (14.), Robbie Lamer (73.) Penalties: 1 ***- Booked: Bart Simpson, Rektor Skinner ***Ross Almighty After an overly challenging time in Lexington, the Simpsons finally start scoring a good amount of goals - the Nerds were on the receiving and, and couldn't quite match the score.
Interchangeable Parts - Al Rassan United 0 : 4 Scorers: --- ***Jehane bet Ishak (1., 44.), Velaz (86.) Penalties: - ***1 Booked: D2, D3, F2 ***Velaz All of 18 points for Trion from the home team! I'm sure he'll be glad to know that even with no monsters around, Ray still hasn't forgotten all about him.
Ladida FC - Dummys 2 : 0 Scorers: Princess (11.), Blossoms (47.) ***--- A very easy game for the home team - the difference between them was rather big, and the win should in all fairness have been larger.
Kirkwood Showdown Match day 2 ======the Professors of Jazz - Ladida FC 0 : 5 Scorers: --- ***Zita (55., 60.), Bubbles (16., 32.), Fiona (3.) Booked: --- ***Blossoms Ladida FC really tried to win this one, so they did easily. Having scored a good amount of goals without receiving a single goal, they seem to be a prime candidate for winning Kirkwood this season! It's still early, though, and everything can happen.
Dummys - Interchangeable Parts 3 : 0 Scorers: Tonnie (51., 79.), Kane (20.) ***--- Booked: --- ***F2, M3 Another 18 points for Trion from the Interchangeable Parts, and thus a rather easy win for the Dummys.
Al Rassan United - Springfield United 1 : 0 Penalties: 1 ***- Booked: Jehane bet Ishak ***Barney Gumble, Marge Simpson, Monty Burns A rather even matchup between two teams that won their first game - in the end, it was the referee's involvement that put the home team ahead, even if the visitors were slightly stronger.
Sofia Inseminaters - FC United 1 : 2 Scorers: Onanij Ivanov (58.) ***Gerard Pique (7., 72.) Booked: Escroft Suckass, Rockhard Rockshard ***--- FC United have gotten a very good start of the season with two deserved wins. The Nerds, on the other hand, seem to be faced with the hardships their manager expected...
Sjokoladen BK - Dead Dino Storage 1 : 1 Scorers: --- ***Nemo (35.) Penalties: 1 ***- Booked: --- ***Evergrey, Nemo, Wolverine Sjokoladen BK was significantly better, but since DDS fought a lot harder for every ball, the draw was rather fair in the end.
Frackers FC - March of the Black Queen 6 : 4 Scorers: Apollo (22., 31., 87.), Starbuck (11., 57., 80.) ***Giuseppe Meazza (5., 57., 68.), Il bimbo d'oro (52.) With the backing of the home crowd and a little fighting spirit, Frackers FC managed to edge ahead in this entertaining match.

47 teams submitted eventually this time. The last team's manager is not on the continent he's used to, so... not a bad start :)
One thing I'd like to point out: Please put the position of the talents you discover in the "discover talents" section! Most often, they're played so I can see what position they should have, but I shouldn't have to look this up for you.
The 5 Percent Community start best in the Premiership, and are now leading it alone with 4 points after two wins. Mishima Zaibatsu and Erkrath Gladiators tie for second, one point behind. At the bottom, we find FC Mokum and Les Gaulois without points, while the rest of the teams have two points. The 5 Percent Community have started out luckiest, while Les Gaulois have been unluckiest.
Lexington League is topped by Blue Revolution and Alphabet FC, both with four points. With a win and a draw each, Feyenoord and Extreme are closest. At the bottom, we find FC Asskickers and Brazil Star Conquerors with a point each, and The Ages and Sheffield Thursday without points so far. Feyenoord have good karma, Sheffield Thursday's is bad for now.
Two teams have full score in Berkeley Conference, and lead together: Studs First FC and NotReallyNewBremenCyberdruids.
