Not even a red card four minutes before the end could change that. Car Park Rangers - First Men of Rome 2 : 0 Scorers: Stephanie Brown (68.) ***--- Penalties: 1 ***- Booked: --- ***Devius Surreptitus, Kickinthenetus, Tortuous Convolvulus Not very much play in this game at Wherever Evil-Doers roam, but just enough for the home team to edge deservedly ahead. Twin Peaks Owls - Erkrath Gladiators 0 : 0 Penalties: - (1 missed) ***- Sent off: Steve Fox (37.) ***--- Booked: Laura Palmer ***Michel Prinz The home team dominated the game for the first 37 minutes, but then Steve Fox was sent off. After that, nothing happened, and the game ebbed out into a goalless draw. Mishima Zaibatsu - G.I.D. 0 : 0 KB: In a rather boring game, the home team created most of the chances, but was unable to get any balls past Soma. Judging by this performance, Rosedale Open is far from being the same without Lower Tadfield Apocalypse and Camarilla Divided. Comebacks next season? Penalties: - (1 missed) ***- Booked: --- ***Hwoarang It was a rather even game at the Stadium of Night, but both forms of Jin were in shape for this matchup, and despite Hwoarang got booked for bad language, the away team got a somewhat lucky win. G.I.D. - Twin Peaks Owls 0 : 0 Even, and infernally boring. A goalless draw was the only meaningful result. Booked: Carsten Bernsee ***--- The Lunatics were quite a bit stronger in this matchup, but were rather lucky not to receive any goals at all. However, two deserved points. First Men of Rome - Kremlin 9 : 4 Scorers: Tortuous Convolvulus (6 goal$s), Squareonthehypothenus (47., 82., 87.) ***Mikail S. Gorbachev (1., 8.), Leonid Bungaloff (27.), Gerd-Liv Valla (32.) Booked: Whoetallthepiesus ***Boris Karrienko, Natasha Nogoodnik After a whole lot of boring matches, the spectators of this one got to see a real show! Both teams let caution to the wind, and an avalanche of goals resulted. The home team were slightly more cautious, though, and could thus cash in a rather comfortable win. Les Gaulois - The 5 Percent Community 1 : 2 Scorers: Amerix (35.) ***Derek Broughton (65.), Yngvar Haakonsen (5.) An almost exactly mathematically even match, but the Greedy Retards took the lead twice, and Les Gaulois could only equalise once. Straight to the top for the 5 Percent Community! Gangsters United - FC Mokum 3 : 2 Scorers: Vito Corleone (42., 46.), Tony Soprano (17.) ***--- Penalties: - ***2 Booked: Scarface ***Ronaldo FC Mokum had cooked some nice poffertjes for the referee before the game, for which they were rewarded a penalty in each half. However, that wasn't enough against determined Mobsters, who managed to score three goals from normal play. Lexington League Match day 1 ============================= Tamriel Athletic - Sheffield Thursday 9 : 3 Scorers: Vlenarus Kvinchal (6., 34., 40.), Bumph gra-Gash (10., 53.), Thamriel (49., 81.), Palonirya (33.), Jeanne Frasoric (11.) ***Prince Fielder (74., 80.), Brady Clark (14.) KB: Tamriel Athletic continue their winning streak from last season in a convincing manner. The match was more even than the scoreline indicates though, so Lexington might be a greater challenge than Kirkwood, after all. FC Asskickers - Blue Revolution 0 : 1 Scorers: --- ***Radu (9.) Not particularly exciting, but the team who was a little stronger won out through an early goal. Alphabet FC - Brazil Star Conquerors 5 : 0 Scorers: Rr (30., 40.), Nn (27.), Oo (9.), Pp (69.) ***--- Booked: Pp, Uu ***--- The Letters continue off where they've been throughout their career; winning. Brazil didn't get many points last season, and are currently struggling for their rebuild. Greensleeves United - The Ages 2 : 1 Scorers: David Farrell (40., 49.) ***Golden Age (86.) Greensleeves had this game sown up all the way, but the Ages added some extra nerve to the last few minutes by catching up to 1-2. Feyenoord - PSV 5 : 1 Scorers: Charisteas (65., 77., 87.), Zuiverloon (63.) ***Cocu (66.) Penalties: 1 ***- Sent off: --- ***Ball (14.), Salcido (34.) Booked: Charisteas, Ono, Paauwe, Zuiverloon ***--- KB: When Jaap Smolders was unable to instruct his players, the result was an anarchy on the field. First half was a strange mixture of rugby, wrestling and diving, loosely inspired by World Cup 2006's Round of 16 match between Holland and Portugal. In the second half, the teams decided they wanted to play some football too, and with two players more, Feyenoord had an easy time rolling over their rivals. Penalties: 1 (1 missed) ***- Booked: --- ***Jan Aage Fjortoft's Friends attempted to field Guenti out of position, but he would have none of it, and ran off the pitch. With a new player on the field for the away team, the game was very even, and the draw was very much deserved for both of them. Lexington League Match day
