Prior to her stint with the Red Storm, DeRosa was an assistant coach for her alma mater, Hofstra University, where she was an All-Amer- ican in 2007. During the 2012 season she helped lead the Pride to a Colonial Athletic Association championship and an appearance in the NCAA Tournament. DeRosa gained experience as a head women’s soccer coach at Nas- sau Community College walking their sidelines from 2011-2012. During her one year at Nassau CC she coached the Lions to an 8-5-3 record and saw eight players earn All-Region XV honors, including five first team selections. Before her year with Nassau CC, she served as head junior varsity coach at Calhoun High School in Bellmore, New York. The 12-0-2 conference record helped bring the first NE-10 Regular SeasonTitle in program history, highlighted by a 1-0 victory against then ranked 10th Saint Rose as Morgan Santoro scored in the 86th minute to lift the Panthers. Meeting again in the NE-10 Title Game, Adelphi again came away with a 1-0 win against the Golden Knights thanks to a 60th minute goal from Laura Gomez.
