Despite having only one loss on the season, the IWLCA Coaches Poll dropped them to the #5 slot in the polls. Closing out the regular season, Adelphi had a dif- ficult three-game home stand over four days that included Assumption, #15 Lindenwood and #12 Bentley. The Panthers powered through the intense closing and put the finishing touches on their 16-1 overall record with three victories. After sporting an 11-1 conference record, the Brown and Gold shared a piece of the NE-10 Regular Season title with Le Moyne. Earning the #2 seed, Adelphi got by Stonehill in the semifinal round of the NE-10 Tournament by a score of 11-7 which pitted them against Le Moyne for the Championship for the third straight year. Honors and Awards Northeast-10 First-Team All-Conference In the Championship game, Grella’s crew jumped out ahead and got on the board first, but fell victim to a 6-2 run in the first half.Two Katelynn Ciaci - Defense unanswered goals brought Adelphi to within one in the early stages Devan Crimi - Midfield of the second, but Le Moyne’s two-goal response proved to be just Rachel O’Brien - Attack enough to last the remainder of the game.
