In her third season at Adelphi, Nasti led the Panthers to a historic season in the program’s Division II history. Finishing with a 31-22 overall record, the Panthers won both the NCAA Division II East 2 Regional and the East Super Regional, which earned them a College World Series berth -- the first as a Division II program. The Panthers finished 13-5 in NE-10 conference play, earning them a first place finish in the Southeast Division, before the team lost in the NE-10 Tournament Championship to Southern New Hamp- shire. Nasti and her staff earned NFCA East Region Coaching Staff of the Year honors for the second time in three seasons, as they coached freshman sensa- tion Brenna Martini to NE-10 and ECAC Rookie of the Year recognition and four others to All-Conference.

Nasti led the Brown and Gold to another NCAA East Regional appearance in 2014, as the squad posted a 27-20 overall record including a 14-8 clip in NE-10 play. The Panthers also advanced to the semifinals of the NE-10 Championship before being defeated by Southern New Hampshire, the eventual champions. Nasti had two players selected to NE-10 All-Conference teams, including the NE-10 Player of the Year, as well as one Daktronics First Team All-Region selec- tion.

In Nasti’s first season as a Panther, she posted a 25-5 record in Northeast-10 Con- ference play, capturing the Southwest division regular season crown. The Panthers then continued on to win the programs first tournament title, after which they were granted the fifth seed in the NCAA East Regional. Nasti and her assistants Ophir Sadeh and Leah McIntosh were also named the NFCA Division II East Region Coaching Staff of the Year- another first for the program.

To conclude her inaugural season, Nasti and the Panthers finished with a 41-19 overall record and ranked 14th in the nation. Her 41 wins tied the single season record previously set in 2008. Success was also noted in the classroom, as the team ended the semester with a 3.598 GPA and was awarded the Northeast-10 Team Academic Excellence award. Nasti also mentored one NFCA and Daktronics All-American, three NFCA All-Region players, six All-Conference honorees, two ECAC Division II All-Stars and three All-Tournament team members, including the conference tournament MVP.

A 2004 graduate of Buffalo with a degree in psychology, Nasti owns virtually every Bulls’ offensive record. She was a four-year let- terwinner and a three-time all-region honoree as well as a three-time All-Mid-American Conference selection. Nasti left Buffalo as the all-time leader in average (.387), home runs (27), RBI (113), hits (197), doubles (46), triples (7), runs (93) and walks (66). In 2002, she set the UB and MAC single season record with a .451 batting average. Nasti also performed well in the classroom, earning Academic All-District I from 2002-2004, Academic All-MAC in 2003 and the SUNY Chancellor’s Award in 2004. She was also a three- time UB Scholar-Athlete.

A native of Baldwin, New York, Nasti, earned her master’s degree from Fresno State and was a three-time high school All-American and holds the single season national high school record with a .774 batting average.
