Joscelyn Fernandez, a graduate intern with the Multicultural Center, said they put on the event to cele- brate Hispanic and Latin Heritage Month. “There will be performances by the Organization of Latin American Students, dance team and spoken word poetry by the Spanish Club,” Fernandez said. “Our keynote speaker is Dr. Jose B. Gonzalez.” Jules Tetreault, the assistant vice president of Student Affairs and Dean of Students, spoke on behalf of Southern’s administration. On February 2nd, 2017 at 7pm, Wagner Softball will be hosting a Comedy Night at The Stone House at Clove Lakes in Staten Island, NY, featuring comedian from The Looney Bin Comedy Club. This night will serve as Wagner Softball’s biggest fundraising event for the year, and will benefit the team’s trip to Utah in the Spring before Northeast Conference competition begins. Dinner tickets will cost $55, and dinner with beer and wine will be $65. The night will include raffles and sponsorship opportunities such as purchasing an advertisement in our Comedy Night Ad Book.
