In the thirteenth century, a Belgian nun by the name of Juliana had a vision: she saw the full moon silvery and radiant except for one dark spot. The meaning of the vision was revealed to her: the moon was the Church’s liturgical year, the dark spot a missing feast in honor of the Blessed Sacrament. Today’s feast of Corpus Christi—the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ— grew from Juliana’s vision. Today the Church focuses on blood of the Son of God. Because the Eucharist. Dear Parishioners,

As my time here at St. Mother Theodore Guerin Parish draws to a close, I wanted to take this opportunity to say goodbye and to thank all of you. I have greatly enjoyed my time here in this parish and I have enjoyed working with so many of you. While, because of the pandemic that has been part of much of my time here, I haven’t gotten to work with all of you as much as I hoped, it has been wonderful to see how Jesus Christ is at work in you as individuals and as a parish. There are many wonderful people here and I know that our Lord will continue to be at work with you as he has been.

Know that I will continue to keep all of you in prayer as I begin the next chapter of my priestly life. I will be the associate pastor at a parish that will, at least temporarily, be called and Constance when they are merged on July 1. RCIA REFLECTION The Easter Vigil Experience was the greatest experience both Emotional, Religious and Beautiful. It reminded me of a talk I had with Fr. Paul where I stated that I wanted to be a Catholic because I was so moved by the Christmas Mass that I knew that I wanted to be a Catholic. The Easter Vigil confirmed my faith with the , Confirmation and First Communion and now I am part of the Catholic Family. Ester Lingo
