The meaning of the vision was revealed to her: the moon was the Church’s liturgical year, the dark spot a missing feast in honor of the Blessed Sacrament. Today’s feast of Corpus Christi—the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ— grew from Juliana’s vision. Today the Church focuses on blood of the Son of God. Because the Eucharist. I have greatly enjoyed my time here in this parish and I have enjoyed working with so many of you. While, because of the pandemic that has been part of much of my time here, I haven’t gotten to work with all of you as much as I hoped, it has been wonderful to see how Jesus Christ is at work in you as individuals and as a parish.
