SERVICES AND GUIDELINES On behalf of the management and staff, thank you for your interest that you have expressed in our hotel. Our staff is dedicated to making your event a most memorable one. The menu has been selected to suit a variety of special occasions and events. If there is something that you would like that is not listed on the menu, please discuss options with your sales representative.

FOOD All of the food and beverage must be provided by the hotel with the exception of wedding cakes. There is a $3.00 per person cake cutting fee that will apply to all cake cutting services. There must be a minimum of 30 people to have a buffet set meal. Buffets are designed for two hours of service. On all buffets, we prepare 5% more than the anticipated number. It is our policy to decline any carry out containers during or after buffet or hors d’ouevre type meals. We are more than happy to put food in take out containers for the bride and groom if requested.

BAR One bartender is required for every 50 people and is designed for 3 hours of service. There is a $100 bartender fee and $100 bar setup fee for every bar. Each additional hour of bar service will result in a $25 per hour bartender fee. If your total guest count is over 150 guests; a minimum of 2 bars will be needed. Additional selections of alcohol can be provided. Please consult your sales representative for more information. EVENT SPACE Your reserved room is exclusive to you and your guests. In the event that your final guarantee number increases or decreases, the hotel reserves the right to put you in a more suitable and comparable room. It is our effort to have your reserved room set up as early as possible; however, if there is an earlier function, the room will be available to you a minimum of two hours in advance of your scheduled event. Any last minute changes or set up instructions will result in an additional $50 per hour set up fee.

GUARANTEE All catering menus and details must be finalized one month in advance of the scheduled event. All final guest counts must be finalized 2 weeks prior to the scheduled event date. Any cancellations and reductions made after this deadline will not reduce the final charges. In the event that your final counts increase, your cost will go up per person based on the availability of items requested.

DEPOSIT A deposit of $500.00 is required to hold the event space. Deposits will be refunded less a 10% administrative fee for cancellations more than sixty (60) days from the date of the event. If the event cancellation occurs less than sixty (60) days out, the deposit is non-refundable.

DECORATIONS We know that it is important to set the perfect ambiance by decorating. Please check with your sales representative prior to any decorating. Any decorations of a personal nature should be delivered the day of the function and picked up the following day. The hotel reserves the right to charge for any damages that may occur during decorating.

TASTING If you do not have a signed contract and a private tasting is requested, a fee of $25 per person will apply. If you do have a signed contract and a tasting is requested, please notify your sales representative 1 week in advance to confirm all menu items. All tastings are designed for 2 guests with a maximum of 6 hors d’ouevres and 3 entrees. Any additional guests will result in a $25 per person fee.

BILLING Payments can be made at any time through the planning process. We ask that all payments are met 3 business days prior to the event. If you are paying by check, we ask that all final payments are met 7 business days in advance.

PARKING Complimentary parking is available for overnight guests. Each room is allowed one parking spot. Should the guest not be staying at the hotel, based on availability, there is street side parking. Folly Beach does offer parking lots throughout the island for a fee. The hotel is not responsible for providing parking during functions.
