ITINERARY : Summer holiday in Zadar with the best beaches, 15 days
Day 1: Arrival in Zadar
Arrival in Zadar and check-in in the accommodation. You will have free time to accommodate and to rest from travel.
Day 2: 2-hour Sightseeing of Zadar
In the morning you will have free time to swim and sunbath at the beach. In the afternoon you will go to the agency office in the old town where you will meet friendly travel representative at 17:00 and you will review the program of your summer holiday. In case of any changes in the itinerary due to bad weather conditions, you will receive new, adjusted tour plan by which the vacation will by maintained. In order to make your stay in Zadar as comfortable as possible we will provide all necessary information in digital or written form as well as locations of the best beaches, local restaurants and popular dishes to try. After that starts guided sightseeing of the old town with virtual reality glasses. You will travel through 2.000 years of history in order to experience the most interesting moments of turbulent history of the city. Sightseeing includes and Maraschino liquor tastings. Maraschino has been produced only in Zadar for over 500 years according to traditional recipe. At 20:00 you have dinner reservation in the restaurant in the old town where you will taste delicious dishes of the traditional Dalmatian and Mediterranean cuisine. Day 3: Free time A day for personal programs and leisure. Take a swim at at the beach near your accommodation or explore beautiful beaches of wider Zadar area. Try delicious Dalmatian cuisine in traditional restaurants.

Director: Veronika Mudri Šestan Day 5: Full-day tour to Krka waterfalls National park In the morning you will depart towards Krka waterfalls National park, situated close the historical city Šibenik. Krka river flows through rocky canyon and after 75 km it flows into the sea not far from Šibenik. In Krka National park you will walk on a wooden bridges and you will see magnificent travertine waterfalls along with the best known Skradinski buk waterfall, enjoy breathtaking view from Krka imperial viewpoint, visit etno village with water mills and former hydro- power plant which was one of the first ever alternating current electrical energy plants in the world. Sightseeing of Krka National park with licensed guide and after that you will have free time for lunch in a restaurant and to explore the park on your own. In the afternoon you will return to Zadar. Meals: lunch package, lunch time from 13:00 til 15:00 in the National park Activity: easy, activity duration 7 hours Transportation: 160 km, about 2:00 h driving in both directions

Day 7: Full-day tour to Dugi otok (Long island) by a speed boat Full-day tour to Dugi otok (Long island) starts from the city port in the morning. You will visit one of the most beautiful sandy beaches in Croatia. First stop is Golubinka cave, which is most famous for its open ceiling through which sun rays enter and light up entire cave creating magnificent atmosphere. Afterwards you will stop in a location called Dragon’s eye where you will be able to jump into a deep sea pool created by waves in a rocky coast. You will stop to have a lunch in a restaurant after which you will continue this adventure of discovering Dugi otok and its beautiful beaches with crystal clear sea. Next stop is Veli Žal beach where you can dive into azure waters and spot different fishes swimming around. In the afternoon you will visit Sakarun beach, most famous sandy beach in Croatia. After that you will visit former military tunnels and Božava village famous for its long fishing tradition where you will have some free time to discover this charming place on your own. On your way back to Zadar you will enjoy fascinating view of the old town and the Sea organ. Day 10: Jeep safari on Velebit mountain Terrain vehicles will take you through mystic mountain Velebit, full of history with unique karst landscape and peaceful nature. The guide will introduce you to the tough way of life of local shepherds that lived on the mountain that remained the same for thousand of years. You will drive up to Tulo rafters mountain peak, that rises up to 1.000 m above the sea level. You will be amazed by the breathtaking view of the Adriatic sea and islands on one side and on the other side you will notice the southern slopes of Velebit mountain, Paklenica National park and the highest peak of the mountain. If you are lucky, during the tour, you may even notice wild horses running free. You will follow the trails of Winnetou, fictional Indian chief, the main character of Karl May's novels after which were filmed movies on Velebit mountain. Exciting ride on off-road terrain is combined with occasional stops for refreshment, to take a walk and to photograph unique karst formations. Lunch will be served in one viewpoint on the mountain. After that you will proceed to the platou from which you will enjoy magnificent view of rocky canyon and emerald green Zrmanja river. Activity: medium physically demanding, tour that lasts 8 hours Meals: lunch is included in the price and it will be served on the mountain Transportation: start point is 60 km (1-hour of driving) far from the accommodation, during the tour you will drive about 60 km for about 7 hours

Day 13: Boat tour through Zrmanja Canyon
Tour starts in Novigrad, small fishing town, half an hour drive from Zadar. Boarding on the boat starts at 9:30 in the morning. The boat ride will take you across the Novigrad Sea and to the point where Zrmanja river flows into the sea. From there you will ride through gorge and you will be surrounded by magnificent more than 200 m high cliffs. You will enjoy beautiful view of the limestone cliffs, emerald green river Zrmanja, remains of the historic Pržunac fortress, the former dungeon of the Croatian Queen Jelena, as well as the numerous birds and ducks that will accompany you as you ride across the river. Route is 12 kilometers long and leads to the town of Obrovac and a few kilometers further to the last waterfall on the river Zrmanja, where you will have a break for swimming. You will return following the same route through the canyon of the river Zrmanja across the Novigrad Sea to Novigrad and finally to the place where you started the tour. Activity: easy, tour that lasts 6 hours Transportation: start point is in Novigrad, a town that is 60 km far from Zadar; boat ride 1,5 hours in one direction
