Alburnus alborella (De Filippi, 1844) (Actinoptery GII: Cyprinidae, Alburninae) in Buško Lake (Municipality Livno).In this report twenty – four specimens were cought during research period in two seasons in 2018. More specifically, trips to the catchment areas were made in spring-summer season from 12.06.2018 to 18.07.2018. and 22.11.2018.Determination of individuals was made on the basis of analysis of individual morphometric and meristic characterswith the exact length and weight of the individuals.This is the first finding of this species probably brought and introduced by fishermen.The findings of this species in Bosnia and Herzegovina have so far been confirmed in the Neretva watercourse and in the Ričica river in the Republic of Croatia. Unvertretbare Auswirkungen auf den Naturhalt sollen vermieden werden. Die ökologische Risikoanalyse stellt die dafür benötigten Informationen durch eine Abschätzung der Exposition der Organismen und der sich daraus ergebenden Effekte bereit. Die Effektabschätzung beruht dabei hauptsächlich auf standardisierten ökotoxikologischen Tests im Labor mit wenigen, oft nicht einheimischen Stellvertreterarten. In diesen Tests werden z. B. Effekte auf das Überleben, das Wachstum und/oder die Reproduktion von Fischen bei verschiedenen Konzentrationen der Testsubstanz gemessen und Endpunkte wie die LC50 (Lethal Concentrations for 50%) oder eine NOEC (No Observed Effect Concentration, z. B. für Wachstum oder Reproduktionsparameter) abgeleitet. Für Fische und Wirbeltiere im Allgemeinen beziehen sich die spezifischen Schutzziele auf das Überleben von Individuen und die Abundanz und Biomasse von Populationen. -

The Eurasian otter (Lutra lutra) underwent a strong decline in large areas of the Central-Western part of its distribution range, during the second half of the twentieth century. In Italy, only residual fragmented nuclei survive in the Central- Southern part of the peninsula. Nowadays, the otter is one of the most endangered mammals in Italy, and increasing the knowledge about the ecology of this species is a key step in defining fitting management strategies. Here we provide information about the diet of otter on the Agri river system, one of the most important presence sites in Italy, to understand both the species' food requirements and the impact on fish communities. Methods. DNA metabarcoding and High Throughput Sequencing were used on DNA extracted from spraints. We amplified DNA with a primer set for vertebrates, focusing efforts on the bulk of the otter's diet (fishes and amphibians). Results. Our findings showed that the diet of the otter was dominated by cyprinids (97.77%, and 99.14% of fishes), while amphibians represented 0.85% of the sequences analyzed. Results are in general accordance with previous studies based on morpho- logical characterization; however, molecular analyses allow the resolving of some Submitted 26 March 2020 morphological uncertainties. -

Fossil utricular otoliths (= lapilli) from cypriniform fishes have long been recorded from European Oligocene and Neo− gene freshwater and oligohaline sediments. Until now, their determination was limited to the family level owing to the lack of morphological investigations on lapilli of Recent cypriniforms. The present study introduces a terminology for the lapillus morphology that is based on the lapilli of 134 specimens of 20 cyprinid and one balitorid species. It is demon− strated that the lapillus has valuable characters for taxonomic classification. As a result, fossil lapilli from Oligocene and Miocene continental deposits from the western Mediterranean, the Swiss and the South German Molasse Basin, the Mainz Basin, and additionally from Anatolia could be determined. Nine species were identified: aff. Abramis sp. vel aff. Alburnus sp., aff. Alburnoides sp., aff. Barbus sp., cf. Leuciscus sp., Palaeoleuciscus sp., Palaeotinca moeddeni sp. nov., Palaeotinca sp. 1, aff. Phoxinus sp., and aff. Rutilus sp. vel aff. Scardinius sp. Our study includes the oldest record of a Phoxinus−related and a Palaeotinca species from Europe. Additionally, aff. Abramis sp. vel aff. Alburnus sp. and aff. Alburnoides have been identified as fossils for the first time. The determination of the fossil lapilli has been supported by means of pharyngeal teeth, with the exception of aff. Abramis sp. -

Regardless, in Serbia this issue is neglected, without appropriate institutional collaboration. To evaluate state of art in Ser- bia, adopted laws and regulations, published scientific papers, concluded and ongoing research projects with emphasis of recorded alien species to date are reviewed. Alien species are defined as allochtonous species in policy documents, while in scientific papers approaches depend on the subject. By now, 346 invasive alien species were recorded in Serbia. Plants present the most numerous group of species, with 172 recorded alien species. Insects are the second large group with 78 species. Apart from them, important are records of cyanobacteria and fungi, while for the first time are summarized data about alien and potentially invasive bird species. Aqauatic ecosystems are the most vurn- eralbe and threatened by spread of invasive alien species in Serbia, with more than 80 aqatic alien organisms. -

The aim of this research was to increase the information Squalius on ecological preferences of this species and to focus on its differences lucumonis, with S. squalus (Bonaparte, 1837). Data collected in 86 different water- Squalius courses throughout Tiber River basin were analysed in the research. For squalus, each of the 368 river sectors examined, the main environmental parame- longitudinal ters and the fish community were considered. The information were anal- gradient, ysed by means of the Canonical Correspondence Analysis (CCA) while the fish assemblage differences in ecological traits between S. lucumonis and S. squalus were compared by ANOVA. The results of the study showed significant differ- ences in the ecological preferences of the two species: the S. lucumonis showed predilection for smaller watercourses characterised by a lower number of species and a higher degree of integrity of fish community than S. squalus This information allowed to increase the basic knowledge on population biology and ecology of S. -

President Lundberg plans to move blanket acceptance of all reports included in this book which covers society business from 2008 and 2009. The book includes the ballot information for the 2009 elections (Board of Govenors and Annual Business Meeting). Governors can ask to have items exempted from blanket approval.
