Performer Biographies Jernej Albreht is a clarinettist based in London, where he graduated from Royal Academy of Music, receiving BMus (First Class Honours), MA (Distinction) and DipRAM. He also completed an ErasmusExchange at Conservatoire National Superieur de Musique Paris. Jernej regularly appears with orchestras in the UK and abroad. Recent performances include streamed concerts for Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Royal Northern Sinfonia as well as performances with Shadwell Ensemble. As a chamber musician, Jernej is a member of the Tritium Trio, which he co-founded with Lydia Hillerudh (cello) and Joseph Havlat (piano). He is also a concert manager at St Stephen’s Church in Dulwich where he curates and organises concerts. Jernej co-founded Lammas Green Music Studio, an educational initiative, where he provides individually tailored lessons on clarinet and other woodwind instruments. He is also a peripatetic teacher at Eaton House The Manor and is part of London Music Tutors, a network of high-quality, accredited music teachers, offering private home tuition across London. American Violist Jill Valentine is a busy freelancer in London's top orchestras and recording studios. She works regularly with the London Symphony, Royal Philharmonic, and London Philharmonic orchestras and as well as with English National Opera and Royal Ballet Sinfonia. As a soloist Jill has twice been featured in BBC Radio 3's contemporary music series Late Junction. As a studio musician with Chamber Orchestra of London, Jill regularly records for popular films and series such as The Crown, Downton Abbey, Yesterday and the Planet Earth franchise, among others. She is an avid chamber musician and a founding member of St. Stephen’s Chamber Players, a new ensemble of young freelance professionals based in South London. She is also a busy teacher and co- founder of the music academy Lammas Green Music Studio. Swedish cellist Lydia Hillerudh studied at the Royal Academy of Music from 2012 to 2017 with Mats Lidström and Robert Cohen. Lydia is a keen chamber musician, performing regularly with Tritium Trio and Mila Piano Trio. She has performed at chamber music festivals around the UK, including Romsey Chamber Music Festival and Dartington International Summer School and Festival. As the oldest out of seven cello-playing sisters, Lydia has been arranging music from a young age, and have had several of her arrangements performed to critical acclaim across Scandinavia and the UK. Joseph Havlat was born in Hobart, Australia, and studied at the Royal Academy of Music in London under Prof. Joanna MacGregor from 2012 -18. He is currently a Young Artist at St. John’s Smith Square, and in 2019 was made Young Artist of the Oxford Lieder Festival alongside fellow Australian mezzo-soprano Lotte Betts-Dean, and was the winner of the keyboard section of the ROSL music competition. Aside from work as a soloist he is also a keen chamber musician, performing frequently with his clarinet trio, the Tritium trio, and also the LSO percussion ensemble. Passionate about contemporary music, he is a founding member and artistic director of contemporary music collective Ensemble x.y and is also an avid composer. .
