  • Literatura Română Din Voivodina: Despre Poetul Ion Miloş
QUAESTIONES ROMANICAE VI Limba şi literatura română Mărioara SFERA Literatura română din Voivodina: (Universitatea din Novi Sad) despre poetul Ion Miloş Abstract: (Romanian Literature in Voivodina: Ion Miloș) Through his lyrics, the poet Ion Miloș (originating from the Serbian Banat) offered in his work an original vision of the role of poetry and religion in the life of modern being. On the other side, he tried to offer an original recipe for creating a discussion of ideas and interactive exposure of some axiological options. The pain of poetry and religion is a theme that has constantly preoccupied Ion Miloș under whose sign he gave life to many lyrics. His poetry must be necessarily seen as an integral part of his vast cultural-literary commitment. Spread over more than four decades, his volumes of poetry in Romanian language foremost highlight the direct and permanent contact with Western-European poetic space. Keywords: canon, Ion Miloș, poetry, Romanian literature from Serbian Banat, modernism.

  • The Relationship Between Democratisation and the Invigoration of Civil Society in Hungary, Poland and Romania
The Relationship between Democratisation and the Invigoration of Civil Society in Hungary, Poland and Romania Mehmet Umut Korkut Thesis submitted in partial fulfilment for the degree of DPhil Central European University, Department of Political Science May 2003 Supervisor: PhD Committee: András Bozóki, CEU Aurel Braun, University of Toronto Reinald Döbel, Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster Zsolt Enyedi, CEU Anneci÷ime ve BabacÕ÷Õma, Beni ben yapan de÷erleri, Beni özel kÕlan sevgiyi, Beni baúarÕOÕ eden deste÷i verdikleri için . 1 Abstract: This is an explanation on how and why the invigoration of civil society is slow in Hungary, Poland and Romania during their democratic consolidation period. To that end, I will examine civil society invigoration by assessing the effect of interest organisations on policy-making at the governmental level, and the internal democracy of civil society organisations. The key claim is that despite previously diverging communist structures in Hungary, Poland and Romania, there is a convergence among these three countries in the aftermath of their transition to democracy as related to the invigoration of civil society. This claim rests on two empirical observations and one theoretical argument: (1) elitism is widely embedded in political and civil spheres; (2) patron-client forms of relationship between the state and the civil society organisations weaken the institutionalisation of policy-making. As a result, there is a gap between the general and specific aspects of institutionalisation of democracy at the levels of both the political system and civil society. The theoretical argument is that the country-specific historical legacies from the communist period have only a secondary impact on the invigoration of civil society in the period of democratic consolidation.

Versfordítások a román költészetből című, 2O19-ben, az Erdélyi Gondolat Könyvkiadónál megje lent reprezentatív és elegáns kivitelezésű könyvet lapozgatom, hirtelen eszembe jut a Helikon Könyvkiadó gondozásában napvilágot látott Liliput-kötet, Mihai Eminescu: Luceafărul — Der Abendstern — Az Estcsillag című kiadvány, melynek előszavában Nicolae Balota „közlekedő edényeknek” nevezi a műfordításokat, a mű fordítókat pedig kulcs-, illetve híd-embereknek, akik önmagukat saját lelkűkben más költői lelkek eszme- és érzésvilágát tükröző énjüket állítják összekötőként a különböző világirodalmi rangra áhítozó nemzeti irodalmak közé. Ilyen „közlekedő edényeket” gyártott Ráduly János is, aki az adys megfo galmazású „Dunának, Oltnak egy a hangja” eszméjében a két sokat szenvedett nemzetet — a magyarokat és a románokat — közelebb hozhatja egymáshoz. Köztudott tény, hogy Ráduly János költő, író, nyelvész, rovásíráskutató, az erdé lyi román—magyar fordítás egyik karizmatikus egyénisége. Műfordítói mun kásságát díjjal jutalmazták: 2OOO-ben díjat vett át Mihai Eminescu költeménye inek tolmácsolásáért. A 150 éve született Mihai Eminescu Emlékdíjat és a hozzá tartozó Oklevelet az akkori államelnök, Emil Constantinescu és Ion Caramitru, kulturális miniszter írta alá. Az elismerés önmagáért beszél, hiszen Eminescu egyike a legnehezebben fordítható román költőknek. S mivel napjainkban na gyon kevesen tolmácsolják Eminescu verseit (mai műfordítóink elsősorban a je lenkori és kortárs költők átültetésére szakosodtak), rendkívüli érdeklődéssel vettem kezembe a Beke Sándor — Ráduly János Az ősz evangéliuma című közös kötetből Ráduly Eminescu-fordításait.

CEU eTD Collection i Abstract This thesis is a contribution to the study of intellectuals under state socialism. It aims to analyse the structure of the Romanian literary field during and after the liberalisation period of the 1960s. It does this by following the trajectory of two Romanian writers inside the institutional and discursive structures of the literary field. The two case studies provide the opportunity to discuss the effects of the state’s institutionalisation of culture. The thesis claims that the co-option of the intelligentsia in the administrative system and the structure of informal networks developed within the state’s institutions made the literary field a complex site where members of the intelligentsia and of the bureaucratic elite engaged in multiple negotiations for state resources. In this scenario the boundaries between the two elites, far from being clear cut, constantly shifted within the confines of state administration.
