This booklet contains the abstracts of all the presentations as well as other useful information. I hope that the conference in Austin will provide the ground for stimulating discussions, just like the previous conferences on Construction Grammar held in Berkeley (2001), Helsinki (2002), Marseille (2004), and Tokyo (2006). I would like to express my gratitude to my colleagues at UT who served as members of the local organizing committee: John Beavers (Linguistics), Lars Hinrichs (English), Knud Lambrecht (French & Italian), and Marc Pierce (Germanic Studies). Special thanks to Johanna Barðdal as the chair of the program committee, which included the members of the international advisory committee (see previous page).
