Hogatha the evil witch is in her castle, brewing up something that will help her get her revenge on the Smurfs since they have destroyed her magic locket in " Bewitched, Bothered, And Be-Smurfed ", costing her one of her nine lives. Soon her concoction is ready, and as she takes a drink of the stuff from a test tube, she finds herself convulsing on the floor until suddenly, with a flash, she is turned into a Smurf. She goes over to the mirror to check out how perfect her transformation is until she notices something -- her Smurf impersonation doesn't have a tail. Climbing up to the table, Hogatha finds a pea that she paints blue, then sticks it to her rear end using glue, and soon she is completely a Smurf. Now all she needs to do is find a Smurf to lead her to the village. The next day, as Vanity is busy admiring himself in a pond's reflection near a sarsaparilla field, Hogatha as a Smurf shows up to greet him. Vanity gives her a sarsaparilla leaf to chew on, which she finds disgusting to her taste. Vanity tries to tell her something in Smurf that she couldn't understand when he finally gets up and heads back to the village, with Hogatha as a Smurf following him. At the village, Papa Smurf is ready to conduct his Smurfs in doing the Dance Of Smurfs when he notices one Smurf isn't joining in -- the Smurf that Hogatha is posing as. He tells that Smurf to get back in line and soon the dance starts with all the Smurfs dancing in formation, all except for Hogatha, who has no idea how to do the Dance Of Smurfs and ends up bumping the other Smurfs out of formation. Soon Papa Smurf stops the dancing and tells the snorting Smurf that he'd better go elsewhere so that he doesn't cause anymore trouble. As Hogatha now called Snorty Smurf goes away, she mutters under her breath that she's only begun. Soon she finds something that smells good cooking away The Smurfs: The Baby Smurf No. 14 a kettle in some Smurf's house and decides to throw in a poison root to "spice things up". Then it is lunchtime, and all the Smurfs are in the dining hall eating what appears to be soup that Hogatha has poisoned. She just sits back and watches for the other Smurfs to start getting sick. They all end The Smurfs: The Baby Smurf No. 14 looking at her wondering why she's not eating, and she says that she's not very hungry. But then she sees that the Smurfs aren't getting sick, and so excuses herself from the table claiming that she needs to get some "stale air", leaving her fellow Smurfs wondering. She goes back to the house where she dropped the poison root in the kettle and finds out that it's filled with dirty laundry. She lies on the floor throwing a tantrum, realizing that she's been outwitted, but she'll get them. Later on, as the Smurfs are busy working on the Smurf The Smurfs: The Baby Smurf No. 14 bridge, Jokey presents one of his "surprises" to Snorty, who then opens it up to find that it explodes. Jokey laughs at the sight of another Smurf falling The Smurfs: The Baby Smurf No. 14 his joke before he runs off. Though at first angry with Jokey, Hogatha is then inspired by him to come up with a plan to destroy the Smurfs. At night, when all the other Smurfs are sleeping, she quietly creeps into Jokey's house and takes a good amount of his exploding "surprises" to set up below the Smurf river bridge. The next day, after Papa Smurf cuts the ribbon at the inaugural ceremony for the bridge, Hogatha pulls on the cord attached to the "surprises" that were set up below the bridge to cause it to be destroyed along with the Smurfs. But to her surprise, the "surprises" didn't go off -- the Smurfs continue to merrily cross the bridge, singing the Smurf song as they do. She throws another fit again, believing that someone has sabotaged her sabotage, but when she crosses the bridge herself, the The Smurfs: The Baby Smurf No. 14 go off and she alone falls into the river. As Snorty cries for help, Hefty swims out to save her, and soon with her holding onto him, he grabs a rope that Papa Smurf throws out to pull the both of them to shore. As Papa Smurf wonders what could have caused the bridge to collapse, he sees a fragment of one of Jokey's "surprises" floating downstream. He grabs it and then tells his little Smurfs that they have "a smurf among us", meaning somebody who's planning to destroy them from within. Having a feeling that she's going to be found out, Hogatha quietly sneaks away to plot her revenge elsewhere when her pea of a tail drops off. Soon Clumsy slips on that fake Smurf tail and, after checking to make sure it isn't his tail, goes over to Papa Smurf to present the fake tail, who then realizes that there's a fake Smurf among them. He calls all the Smurfs together to tell them this news, but as every Smurf checks each other to make sure that that Smurf isn't a fake, Hogatha realizes that part of her disguise is gone and soon tries to sneak off. But Hefty finds Snorty and soon the other Smurfs join him in chasing her, revealing that Smurf to be the fake. Hogatha reaches Papa Smurf's laboratory, which she locks up in order to create a counter-potion that would enable her to return to her original form so she could squash and stamp them out. Papa Smurf calls for a battering ram to break down the door. After a few tries, the Smurfs break through, but Hogatha's already finished with the potion and soon has swallowed it, going into convulsions before she returns to normal -- though not quite. She thinks she sees that the Smurfs have gotten so tall, but Papa Smurf says that it's her that's gotten small. Hogatha tries to use her magic powers on them, but they don't work, and soon they grab her and send her out of the village, tying a rope around some trees to show that she's never to return there again. But though Hogatha runs off, grateful to still be living, she mutters that the Smurfs haven't seen the The Smurfs: The Baby Smurf No. 14 of her, and that she still has plenty of lives left for her to get even with them. Meernik, Acting Dean of the Toulouse Graduate School Baldwin, Frances Novier. The Passage of the Comic Book to the Animated Film: The Case of the Smurfs. Master of Arts (French), August 2011, 56 pp., bibliography, 31 titles. The purpose of this study is to explore the influence of history and culture on the passage of the comic book to the animated film. Although the comic book has both historical and cultural components, the latter often undergoes a cultural shift in the animation process. Using the Smurfs as a case study, this investigation first reviews existing literature pertaining to the comic book as an art form, the influence of history and culture on Smurf story plots, and the translation of the comic book into a moving picture. This study then utilizes authentic documents and interviews to analyze the perceptions of success and failure in the transformation of the Smurf comic book into animation: concluding that original meaning is often altered in the translation to meet the criteria of cultural relevance for the new audiences. So be The Smurfs #22: The Smurf Menace, parents! Before you blindly allow your children to be brainwashed by this angry blue menace, you should carefully read this field guide to Smurfs conspiracy theories. Remember: Smurf-warned is Smurf-armed! Because in that album, the Smurfs are sick. And when they become black, they lose all trace of intelligence. The Smurfs Are Closet Commies! Since communism stresses unity, anyone with knowledge of other matters than what is beyond the scope of the village is classified as a dissident, thus disrupting the common The Smurfs #22: The Smurf Menace of the entire entity. He would stop at nothing to turn us away from Jehovah, even targeting unsuspecting children … Smurfs, it seemed, were decidedly un-Smurf-y. And for my self-sacrifice in this matter, Jehovah found me totally Smurftastic. Although she is the focus of some childish heterosexual rivalries, especially between The Smurfs #22: The Smurf Menace and Handy, there is never any real heterosexual tension in the Village. The tension is more between Hefty and Handy themselves, who seem to be more interested in impressing each other than Smurfette.

  • Brussels Airport, 22 June 2017 the Smurfs Wish Passengers at Brussels Airport a Nice Journey! Since This Afternoon, Papa Smurf
Brussels Airport, 22 June 2017 The Smurfs wish passengers at Brussels Airport a nice journey! Since this afternoon, Papa Smurf, Smurfette and Baby Smurf have arrived at Brussels Airport to wave off the passengers who leave from Gates B. In the relaxation and shopping area leading to Pier B, a statue has been unveiled of the blue Belgian comic book heroes, the final touch to a thorough renovation of this area where the Belgian tastes, identity and icons immerse passengers for one last time in the culture of our country. The statue of the Smurfs at Brussels Airport is inspired by album 14, “The Aerosmurf”, which was published in 1990 and in which the Smurfs appropriately fly a red aeroplane. That same aeroplane formed the basis for the creative minds to conjure up an airport scene. Papa Smurf is the marshaller who indicates where and how the aeroplane should park. Smurfette and Baby Smurf oversee things. “I am very pleased to welcome the Smurfs to Brussels Airport. For decades they have been an internationally famous icon of our country and are, just like the Tintin rocket in Connector, the perfect representatives of Belgian creativity and our rich comic book culture. We have therefore given the Smurfs a place of honour in the completely renovated area where passengers can enjoy the Belgian culture and cuisine”, says Arnaud Feist, CEO of Brussels Airport Company. The Smurfs, the small blue comic book heroes created by Peyo (pen name of Pierre Culliford), first saw the light of day in 1958. In their nearly 60-year existence they succeeded in acquiring world fame.

Blue Dwarf – Smurf (Homus minor Magicus) The Smurf Creature was created after the comics of Smurfs created by Peyo, and owned by IMPS. Therefore, no commercial usage of the Smurf may be done without written consent of this company. In no way the usage of the Smurf as D&D character/race is ever allowed to be used commercially, without written consent of this company. The Smurf as was “created” here, for use with the D&D Game, was created for personal use only, and was created in respect to and after that of the memory of their late original creator; Peyo, and his son Thierry. Peyo and Thierry are also used in this purely fantasy piece, and are depicted as heroes in respect to their work. I hope this “creation” as D&D race will make lots of fun with the Smurfs, and is in no way intended as an infringement of any of their incorporated rights. To Players willing to play a Smurf character, I suggest reading the Smurf and Johan & Pirrewiet comics, and viewing the Smurf cartoons. Have lots of friendly fun. Smurfs are intended to be played as a friendly race and are not fun to be played as common character races, which regularly slay other creatures. Smurfs are like fairies, more pacifistic, and should therefore be played as thus. Even Gnaps (Black smurfs) are not truly evil, yet are only a bit more malign. A Smurf can and may never be used as an evil character. The Smurfettes! Created by Marie (The Raven Child) Kerns. This is a brief introduction to the many smurfettes in my fanfiction story saga “The Smurfette Village”. Disclaimer: The original Smurfs (as well as Smurfette, Sassette (smurfling), and Nana Smurf) are created by Peyo. I do not own them, however the smurfettes are mine. Astrologette You could say Astrologette is a bit of a psychic. She relies on tarot cards and the position of the stars to help her see what is yet to come for everyone in the Smurfette Village. She is best recognized with her jet-black hair, moonstone amulet dangling on her forehead, and gypsy style outfit. Also, she is the only smurfette that actually wears jewellery. Babette The cutest member of the Smurfette Village, Babette is also the youngest. She is special, much like Baby Smurf from the Smurf Village. Not many would recognize the ‘magical’ gift they both possess. Babette has curly blond hair that is tied up in pink bowed pigtails. Ballette Ballette is one of the most graceful smurfettes of the Smurfette Village. She loves to dance more then anything. Not only does she dance, but she also loves a good game of Smurfball every once and a while. Ballette has blond hair braided up into a bun. She is usually seen in ballet tights, leotards, Toto, and ballet shoes. Brainette Brainette is more serious then any of the other smurfettes. Like Brainy Smurf, she is very smart. But unlike Brainy Smurf, Brainette doesn’t usually do a lot of talking. Her field of expertise is mostly science and math.
