I am glad to inform that the following NSS Volunteer has been selected for participation in the prestigious Republic Day Parade Camp 2014 to be held from 1 st to 31 st January, 2014 at New Delhi.

The volunteers have to carry the following documents (the prescribed formats enclosed) and hand over the same to the officials at the time of reporting at New Delhi. 1. Security clearance certificate (Annexure –A) 2. Indemnity Bond (Annexure-B) 3. Certificate of Medical/Physical Fitness (Annexure- C) 4. Volunteer ship Certificate (Annexure –D) 5. Personal details (Annexure-E) 6. Five recent passport size photographs 7. NSS volunteer certificate from the institution 8. I.D. Card of the institution In addition, the participants are directed to carry other articles as per list enclosed.

The climate of Delhi in January will severely cold and the temperature sometimes may fall even minus degree. Hence the participants are directed to bring with them sufficient warm woollen and blanket.

During the month long NSS RD Parade Camp, NSS Volunteers will be given ample opportunities to exhibit their cultural talent for which they should carry musical instruments, audio cassettes/DVD and traditional etc. The action photographs and reports of major activities along with poster, banners, charts etc in respect of your College/school/ University/Directorate may please be carried for exhibition in the camping venue.

The camp will conclude on 31 st January, 2014. The participants can book their return reservation in consultation with the team leader to leave New Delhi from 1 st February, 2014.

th There will be one day orientation course for all the selected volunteers on 9 December, 2013 on 11.a.m at Sree Narayana Higher Secondary School at Ayyappancavu, Ernakulam, Near Ernakulam North Railway station . The selected volunteers may be advised to attend the meeting and bring Rs. 2000/- for booking of Train tickets to New Delhi and hand over the money to Mr.Vinod, The Kerala & Lakshadweep team contingent leader S.N Hr Sec School, Ayyapankavu, Ernakulam ( Mobile No.9447914686) on 9th December 11am without fail.

FORM OF INDEMNITY

In consideration of my being nominated at my request to undergo all types of training and also participating in any camp/course/ adventure training activities in/ outside NSS and traveling I undertake and agree that neither I nor my executer/ administrator will make any claim against the Government of India or against any officer of NSS/ Principal/ Programme Officer/Programme Coordinator/ State Liaison Officer/ / Youth Officer/ Assistant Programme Adviser/ Deputy Programme Adviser/ Programme Adviser in respect of any loss or injury to the property or person (including injury resulting in death), which may suffer while or inconsequence of my being in training/ participating in any camp / course/adventure training activities in/out side NSS and traveling and I understand that no compensation will be paid by Government of India or any Officer as mentioned against any such loss or injury (including injury resulting in death) and I agree so as to bind myself, executers and administrators to indemnity to the Government of India, any NSS official and any person in the service of Government of India, against any claim which may be made any third party against them or any of them arising out of any act or default on my part during or in connection of said training camp course/ NSS Pre- RD parade/ RD parade camp /adventure training / / Mega Camp/Youth Exchange and journey by road/ rail/ seal river/ and flight
